A Showdown Ensues Between Rita & Peterson. Peterson’s Plot To Eliminate Tupe For Good Backfires. Peterson Is Arrested. Kiko Confesses The Truth To Hannah.
Celia had a heartfelt conversation with Tupe where she mentioned how tough her daughter was. She got pretty emotional and thanked him for helping Rita to get back on her feet. She then apologized to him for how she had treated him before so badly.
Tupe merely told her that she had only be doing what she thought was best for her daughter. Celia went ahead to assure him that she would never get in the way again if he still had plans of courting Rita.
Meanwhile, Rita and Peterson faced each other, backed by their lawyers for the custody hearing of Andrew. With the judge in attendance, an altercation ensued between the former married couple and got intense pretty fast. Peterson accused Rita of commiting adultery with Tupe.
Rita however said that leaving him was the best thing she ever did. She accused him of almost k!lling her and Andrew when she was pregnant. Peterson denied this and said that he løved his son and would never hurt him. Rita said she was the one who cared for Andrew because all Peterson wanted was to hide the fact that he is impotent.
Peterson denied this as well and things heated up some more. Eventually, the judge had to caution the lawyers to keep their clients under control, thereby stoping the fight. Lab found Hannah with Kiko at the workplace and he was taken by surprise to learn that she would be leaving for Canada soon.
Rita told Tupe about what had transpired during the hearing. She worried about losing her son and Tupe assured her that he wouldn’t let it happen. Tupe asked the lawyer to file a case against Peterson but he couldn’t because there was no evidence that could be used against him.
That night, Tupe watched Rita taking care of the baby with such grace and serenity and he silently vowed not to let someone like Peterson gain custody of him. Peterson had a talk with his lawyer and a buddy of his and they plotted to get rid of Tupe.
The next morning, he met up with Joko, a lackey of his, and paid him upfront to get the job done. The goon reached out to Lab (Kiko’s father) for assistance. He was tired of everything and wanted to expose Peterson but Lab cautioned him against that and even threatened him to keep his mouth shut.
Peterson went to see Andrew and when he found out that he was out with Tupe, he began to make a scene. He demanded to see Andrew and threatened to accuse Tupe of kidñappiñg. He however was not able to file any charges because Andrew had not been away for more than 24 hours.
When Peterson refused to leave until he saw Andrew, Rita got in his face and chased him off by threatening to have him arrested.Lab warned his buddy to carry out Peterson’s order if he valued his life. In the meantime, Kiko came to see Hannah and she ranted about the disgust she had for Peterson.
Kiko told her that there was something she needed to know about Peterson. Recalling his father’s pleas not to reveal the truth because he didn’t want to go to jail, Kiko merely hugged Hannah and refrained from spilling the beans. Tupe took Andrew to Margaret’s grave to visit her. Peterson sent his goon to attåçk him there.
Surprisingly, Joko ended up confessing that Peterson was the one who k!lled his father Miguel. Also, the henchman told Tupe that Peterson was behind the ättaçk that injured his arm. He wanted to separate Tupe and Rita because he liked her. Ultimately, Tupe informed Rita and the others about the disturbing turn of events.
The police then went to Peterson’s house to arrest him for the mürdër of Miguel Salcedo, as well as the frustrated mürdër of Tupe. Kiko finally told Hannah the truth about the mürdër of her father.
