Joyce Has An Unfriendly Encounter With Rigor. Desperate To Save Kristine, Noel Risks His Life To Steal The Evidence Against Her. Joyce Is Devastated When Kristine Regains Her Freedom.
Noel was obsessing over how he was going to get Kristine out of prison. He was talking to Rex and told him about what the attorney had said about having a better chance of winning Kristine’s case if there was no evidence and Rex had just the idea that would help Noel do that.
Kristine was taking care of another patient at the prison when Georgina came to laugh at her since her request for bail had not been granted. Kristine merely asked her to leave her alone. Noel went to see Kristine in prison. He brought her food and as they talked, Kristine wished that they were at a picnic instead.
Noel told Kristine not to worry, adding that she would be free soon. Back at the Castillo residence, Joyce was strolling around the house when she saw Rigor. She dropped a glass she was holding. She ended up hurting herself and Rigor went to see if anything was wrong. Joyce screamed, asking him to leave her alone.
Lawrence and Alejandra heard the chaos and came running. Joyce looked so scared and Lawrence asked Alejandra to fire Rigor after what he had done to her, and so Rigor was fired. Rigor was packing up his things when Alejandra went to see him and gave him an envelope full of money.
She explained that she had only said that he was fired for Joyce’s sake but he was to take the money and lay low at her house in Tagaytay until Alejandra needed him again. Lawrence found Alejandra there and she told him that she was there to make sure that Rigor did not steal anything.
Meanwhile, Noel’s plan all along was to steal the evidence against Joyce from the prosecution office. He disguised himself and set out in the middle of the night. Noel managed to get the tape but as he was leaving, a guard saw him and ran after him. He was able to get away but sustained a güñshot wound when the guard fired at him.
Noel called his father who got him to a hospital and the büllet was removed. They however left the hospital immediately before the doctors started asking unwanted questions, like how Noel got a güñ shot wound. They called Rex to meet them up with some money and went away from the city. Noel was treated by a friend of theirs who was a veterinary doctor and the three of them had to stay away from Manila in case the police were looking for Noel.
Kristine, on the other hand, got released due to Noel’s handiwork because Joyce’s side were unable to produce their evidence in court after it went missing.The court decided to dismiss Kristine’s case. Joyce was devastated and she hurled words at Kristine, saying that she and her father would pay for their crimes.
Outside the court room, Ronaldo and Lawrence had an altercation after Ronaldo told Lawrence that Joyce had only married him because she wanted revenge against him, adding that Joyce did not løvë Lawrence. Lawrence got upset and told Ronaldo not to insult his wife and he ended up getting punched by Ronaldo.
Ronaldo was talking to his partner later and told him that he was happy Kristine had been released but he was sad he could not be able to celebrate with her and Lourdes.Kristine’s release was hard on Joyce so much that she started having nightmares about Kristine wanting to k!ll her. Lawrence took her to see a psychologist who advised them about how to deal with it.
Noel’s phone did not have any charge and he therefore did not know whether Kristine had been released or not. Kristine on the other hand thought that it was Ronaldo who had paid to get the evidence against her thrown away. She also kept asking about Noel and even went to his house with the attorney but the neighbours told her that Noel had left hurriedly.
Joyce was left thinking that Noel had left her. Meanwhile, Rex and Noel finally buried the evidence as Noel said that he did not want Kristine to know what he had done and think ill of him. Also, Noel wanted to go to Manila to see if Kristine had been released but Rex offered to go in his place since Noel had not fully recovered and the police might still be looking for him.Read Next Episode On Beautiful Strangers Episode 28
