Lemuel Manipulates Alyana To Make A Complete Fool Of Herself. Lily Torments Elizabeth & Her Companions. Cardo & Co Visit Delfin. President Hidalgo Begins To Get Out Of Control.
Alyana walks home dejectedly to find that her husband has still not returned. Meanwhile, Opeña prepares breakfast for herself and Cardo and she recounts the good things she had heard of him before they had met. When she asks if he’s a troublemaker, our favorite hero merely notes that he’s going through a tough time.
He informs her of his plan to meet up with Diana to see if there’s any new information she has regarding his grandpa’s case. He then urges her not to tell the team about what happened to them and Opeña assures him that she’s not a blabbermouth. Back home, Lemuel approaches Alyana and puts on a show of wanting to help her find her husband.
He suggests that she should look for him at the Padua house, saying that he had witnessed Cardo ki$$ing Clarisse after he had saved her from getting mugged. A whole captain of the neighborhood føølishly goes to the Padua house to make a scene, drawing a crowd. She actually confronts Clarisse and tries to go into the house to search for her beloved husband.
An exchange of words ensue between both women and Alyana is compelled to leave after Arturo threatens to file a case against her. In the meantime, Cardo contacts Diana on phone for a meetup with her and Teddy. At the Palace, Elizabeth mops the floor and tries to listen in on Lily’s conversation with a lackey of hers.
Ironically, Lily happens to trip over the mop she’s using and she lashes out at Elizabeth and decides to pay her back by literally mopping the floor with her face. She then dunks her head into the dirty bucket of water. Auring and the others come to Elizabeth’s rescue and the first lady deals with them as well. A moment later, Elizabeth calls Diana to lament over how Lily has been treating them like animals.
At the rendezvous place, Teddy announces that he’s already published his expose on the bank manager and Hipolito. Diana makes known the situation at the Palace, prompting Cardo to go and check up on his grandpa. As Jacob delivers the double dosage of the medicine to Lily’s lackey, President Hidalgo scolds Secretary Padua for signing an unfavorable business contract behind his back.
Arturo makes a futile attempt to convince him that it’s for the best. Oscar expresses his utmost disappoinment in him and refusing to approve the document, he angrily dismisses him from his office. Arturo is upset and silently gloats over how he can have the president k!lled in an instant.
Cardo and company proceed to go and see Delfin at the detention center and he covers up what had happened to him and urges them to be careful because their enemies are powerful. The disgruntled Palace workers lament over their situation and they plan to quit work and expose the first lady for the monster that she is.
Speaking of, Lily whines about her desire to get rid of the workers and Arturo counsels her against that. When Elizabeth and her companions pack up their things and try to leave the Palace, Lily stops them and declares that they’re not going anywhere.
She then threatens to have them all arrested if they try to pull such a stunt again. Grandma Flora gets worried to learn of the disappearance of her beloved grandson, and she’s appalled by what had happened between him and Clarisse.
At the detention center, Teddy informs Delfin about the evidence that could help with his case, as well as the involvement of Hipolito. Cardo then promises that they would all be there to support him during his arraignment tomorrow. Conveniently, the despicable officer Raymundo is assigned the case of the two mürdëred witnesses.
At the Palace, President Hidalgo surprises Arturo by announcing his plan to have an impromptu press conference tonight. Later, Arturo whines about how the president is out of control and Lily looks forward to salvage the situation. In the meantime, Cardo returns home to inform his grandma and the others about his visit to Delfin as well as the evidence to prove his innocence.
News of the mürdërs of the witnesses takes them by surprise. Hipolito isn’t the least bit happy to find out that he’s famously infamous again. Lily brings the miserable doctor to check up on the president with the ulterior motive of using him to change the medicine prescription. Oscar ignorantly takes the double dosage pills much to Lily’s pleasure.
Arturo meets up with Raymundo to connive some more and caution him to make sure that Cardo doesn’t find out that he’s investigating him. An enraged Hipolito confronts one of his men for failing at his job and upset over the leaked photo, he angrily executes him on the spot. Meanwhile, Teddy talks to Diana on phone. He plans to go to the Palace for the press conference in hopes of getting some evidence against Lily.Read Next Episode of Brothers Episode 560
