Xinyan Connives With Haoze To Win The Lucrative Contract. Jiayu & Tianming Try To Make A Deal With Dr. Lin. Zhenguo Dies. Xinyan’s Relationship With Haoze Falls Apart.
Jiayu is left downcast on account of how badly her meeting with Dr. Lin had gone and Tianming resolves to strengthen her. Guodong becomes persistent in his pursuit of Gu Min. Upon regaining consciousness, Zhenguo asks for Ruirui and Haoze is forced to strike a deal with Jiayu in order cover up everything that had happened.
Xinyan plots with Haoze to get a lucrative business contract. Dr. Lin notifies Haoze of his encounter with Jiayu. Zhengdao encounters Yanan’s mother and strives to get her to consent to Jiaxing’s marriage with Yanan.
Upon learning that Jiayu had been manipulated to donate her liver to Zhenguo, Zhengdao confronts Haoze and receives the humiliation of his life. Guodong makes deliberate attempts to win over Gu Min. However, he returns to China impromptu after learning of how Xinyan had won the contract of Best Company.
Gu Min takes offense at Guodong’s sudden disappearance and she also returns home to deal with her debts. In spite of Tianming’s warning, Guodong decides to reinstate Xinyan, impressed with her abilities. Jiayu takes Ruirui to see Zhenguo. Jiayu and Tianming make contact with Dr. Lin again and they try to get him to cooperate with them with the promise of helping to treat his daughter.
Strapped for cash, Gu Min reaches out to Jiayu for help. As Xinyan flourishes at work, Jiayu sends a courier to her house containing photos of her dirty past. Xinyan desperately tries to get rid of the evidence but Haoze eventually finds out and is left rattled. While Haoze decides to have Xinyan investigated, Zhengdao confronts Xinyan.
Tianming decides to participate in the general manager competition for the sake of his group. Xinyan threatens Jiayu with Ruirui. Guodong reaches out to Gu Min. Zhengdao gives Jiaxing some money for his wedding with Yanan and Jiayu refrains from exposing his connection to Xinyan.
Following their falling out, Xinyan makes deliberate attempts to fix her relationship with Haoze. Zhenguo passes away, leaving Haoze even more devastated. When he reaches out to Jiayu, she resolves to put aside her resentment to do the honorable thing.
Haoze is compelled to organize his father’s funeral by himself and Gu Min is equally devastated to learn of the terrible news. Jiayu’s family life begins to get on the right track. Meanwhile, Xinyan’s relationship with Haoze deteriorates when Haoze receives new disturbing information about her past.
