Lawrence Picks A Fight With Noel. Kristine Ridicules Joyce’s Accusations. Alejandra Cooks Up A Sinister Scheme Against Joyce In A Desperate Attempt To Save Her Campaign. Joyce Refuses To Back Down.
Noel and Joyce talked about their lost løvës. Noel was talking about how he had broken up with Kristine. He then asked Joyce if she had really løvëd Lawrence. Joyce said she did løve Lawrence, much like she had løvëd Noel before.
They gave each other innocent hugs as a consolation and that was when Lawrence appeared. He saw the embrace and went to punch Noel, saying that he was the reason Joyce had left him at the alter. Joyce stopped Lawrence from beating up Noel and the commotion made Imelda and Jason go outside.
When Imelda saw Lawrence, she attacked him because of what Ronaldo had done to Joyce. Joyce had to stop her and asked everyone to leave them alone so that she could talk to Lawrence.Joyce started crying and Lawrence asked her why she had left him. He even asked Joyce if it was because of money and Joyce had to slap him, explaining that if it was money she wanted, she could have married him.
As it was however, she could not stand being in the same family as the man who had ruined her life. She added that she løvëd him very much and hoped that he believed her. Lawrence just left. Alejandra’s campaign was suffering because of Joyce’s slander and her mother advised her to play the victim so that the public would sympathize with her.
Meanwhile, Kristine took some time off from the hospital to go to the lawyer’s office to give a statement in favor of her father. Ronaldo, Alejandra, Hannah and Ronaldo’s lawyer were all there. Kristine gave the story of how Joyce had saved her life and how she had repaid her by removing her burn scars. Kristine said Joyce was mentally ill then and hence the story could just be product of her imagination.
After the statement, Kristine excused herself to go to the bathroom. Ronaldo and Alejandra were about to leave but Alejandra claimed she had forgotten her phone in the lawyer’s office and went back in. Alejandra had information about the lawyer because he frequently accepted bribes.
She threatened to out his shady deals and take away his practicing license but told him she would keep what she had found out to herself if the lawyer did not ruin her husband’s life, which in other words meant refusing to take Joyce’s case.
Noel arrived with Joyce just after Alejandra left and the lawyer told them that he could no longer pursue the case because there was no evidence and Joyce had a history of mental illness so they did not have a case.
Joyce left the lawyer’s office in tears but she told Noel they would get another lawyer. Alejandra had followed Kristine to the bathroom where she told her that they did not need her help and that she herself was helping Ronaldo because she did not plan on giving him the annulment.
The two left the bathroom to join Ronaldo and his lawyer when Noel and Joyce passed by. Alejandra did not want them to pass by without ruffling them up so she approached Joyce and started provoking her by asking why she was crying.
She insinuated that maybe she was not feeling well because she had not taken her lunatic medicine and that was when Joyce lost it! She ättaçked Alejandra who took the beating because the press appeared out of nowhere and filmed the entire scene. Noel finally managed to get Joyce away but the damage had been done.
Joyce looked crazy in front of the camera which lent to the story that she was indeed crazy and making things up. Alejandra even told the press that Joyce was being used by her political opponents to spread slander against her. Joyce and her family were devastated when they watched the news later but Shakira came to the rescue when he said that he had connections in the press.
Joyce gave her own interview where she swore to Ronaldo that she would make sure he paid for what he had done to her. As Alejandra watched the news, her sponsors for the political campaign called and pulled out their support, saying that they did not want to be involved in a scandal.
Alejandra decided to take matters into her own hands again and called Rigor. Rigor paid some boys to go and provoke Joyce. The boys called Joyce a lunatic and hit Imelda with a stone so Joyce had to drive them away. Rigor filmed the exchange and took the video to Alejandra.
Alejandra was explaining to Hanna how they were going to leak the video to the press so that it would not be traced back to them when Lawrence walked in on them. Lawrence asked Alejandra why she was doing it if Joyce was lying and Alejandra tried to explain that it was because Joyce was hurting her political campaign.
Lawrence said that Joyce had nothing to gain from accusing his family and that he believed her, then left. Noel went to see Kristine to tell her about how the lunatic accusations were hurting Joyce but Kristine said that she was happy Joyce was getting what she deserved and that Noel was a fool for believing her.
To put an end to the lunatic rumors, Noel took Joyce to the hospital so that they could talk to her doctor so that she could testify that Joyce was not crazy.
