Joyce Abandons Her Wedding & Exposes Ronaldo. Lawrence Is Left Heartbroken. Joyce Files A Case Against Ronaldo. Kristine Comes At Odds With Noel When He Takes Joyce’s Side.
The episode begins with Joyce’s wedding. Noel had already arrived but the people at the door refused to let him in especially when he said that he needed to talk to the bride. He however found another door and managed to go in. Everyone was ready for the wedding as Kristine and Ronaldo tried to get to the church to stop the wedding.
The priest asked Joyce if she accepted to become Lawrence’s wife but she only looked at him.She did not answer the question and after what seemed like an eternity, Joyce told Lawrence she was sorry, adding that she couldn’t do it.
She then picked up her dress and ran out of the church. Before Joyce got to the church’s door, Kristine and Ronaldo walked in. Rigor was ready with his güñ but Alejandra signaled him to stand down.
Kristine stopped Joyce and told her to stop spreading vindictive rumours about her father but Joyce told her that her father was the bad guy before she proceeded to leave. Everyone went outside to see what was happening and Kristine followed Joyce to tell her to take back everything she had said about Ronaldo. Joyce only cried as Imelda hit at Kristine for always harassing Joyce.
Lawrence was devastated and wanted to talk to Joyce so that they could resume the wedding but Alejandra stopped him. Lawrence went on ahead but stopped once Kristine saw Noel in the crowd and asked him what he was doing there. Noel said Joyce had called him while she was crying and Lawrence asked Joyce why she had called her ex on their wedding day.
Joyce however continued to cry until Kristine provoked her and she ended up shouting everything that happened to her in front of everyone.Kristine said it was slander. Ronaldo did not defend himself and Joyce ran off from the wedding scene, Imelda, Jason and Shakira in tow.
Noel took Kristine to her awarding ceremony but left her there, saying that he had to hear what Joyce had to say. Kristine called Joyce a lunatic who only came up with stories in her head but all the same, Noel left. Joyce was writing out her statement when Noel arrived and she told him how Ronaldo had abüsed her, k!lling their child and having her burnt.
Noel was extremely upset, but he believed Joyce. Joyce asked him whether he was willing to fight for their child even while dating Kristine because she had given up the man she loved the most for Lea. Lourdes and Lesley organized a little dinner for Kristine because her awarding ceremony had not gone so well after the incident at the wedding.
Meanwhile, Lawrence was a mess. Hannah tried to take care of him but he sent her packing when she tried to take advantage of his sorrow to sleep with him. He slept in the hotel he was supposed to spend with Joyce on their wedding day and drank his sorrows away until Alejandra went to see him.
The next day, Noel went to see Kristine about Joyce’s claim but Kristine told him to go away because he had believed Joyce’s story. Noel told her that Joyce was filing charges, so Kristine went to Castillo Realty to warn his father. Joyce had gone to the police station to file a case with Imelda and Noel arrived later to give her his support.
Ronaldo was telling Mike that he wished Joyce would not press charges because he did not want to be forced to hurt her again. It was then that Kristine arrived and told him about Joyce’s statement. The police arrived shortly after and Ronaldo agreed to go with them to give his statement too. Kristine went with him while Mike called the lawyer.
Ronaldo went in and gave his statement but there was a nasty altercation between him and Joyce once he was done. He said he did not know what Joyce was talking about and Joyce called him out for claiming she was a liar while he knew that he was the reason behind everything that had happened to her.
Ronaldo went to grab Joyce but Noel shoved him and Kristine aside. It was then that Ronaldo held Kristine and they left the police station. Noel followed them to apologize to Kristine, telling her that he had to defend his baby. Ronaldo told him not to speak to his daughter and Noel punched him for what he had done to Joyce.
With that, Kristine told Noel that they were over. Joyce and Imelda talked to the officer who told them that the fiscal would decide if she had a case or not. Joyce told Imelda that she would make sure Ronaldo paid for his crime against her.
