Cardo Tries To Reason With President Hidalgo; Oscar Kicks Him Out Of The Palace. Lily Continues To Manipulate Oscar. Cardo Faces Off With Arturo & Ultimately Ends Up In A Brawl.
Elizabeth explains to her coworkers how Diana had found out about their plan and wanted them not to abandon the dumb president alone in the Palace lest he suffer much more in Lily’s hands. Speaking of, the jezebel has a talk with Arturo about the Palace staff, whining about how they’re friends of the president and Cardo too.
They then share their apparent dislike for them. President Hidalgo acts up over a blasted document he had already signed, amazing Salonga. Our favorite arrives with his team outside and he asks them to stay behind while he goes inside to talk to the president alone.
He’s certain Oscar will believe him. A moment later, Cardo explains to the president that his grandpa is innocent of the charges against him. Refusing to listen to reason, Oscar brands Delfin as a traitor and a liar on account of all the evidence that had been found against him.
Lily shows up and after Cardo has a few exchange of words with her, Oscar demands for him to leave the Palace. Cardo takes a moment to glare and throw side glances at the president and the first lady before leaving. He runs into Arturo on his way out and the rotten judge makes mockery of him.
Cardo gets in his face and vows to deal with him foremost if it’s proven that he’s involved in the conspiracy against his beloved grandpa. Once he regroups with his team, he tells them of what had happened in there. While Delfin struggles to sleep in his detention cell, Grandma Flora consoles the kids back home when they express their sadness over the situation.
Cardo hangs out at a bar with his comrades, lamenting over how the dumb president is no longer the person they knew. He vows to do anything to help his grandpa. Just then, a rotten cop and his guys walk into the place and make it a habit to badmouth Delfin and Task Force Agila.
After a while, our favorite hero decides that he’s had enough. He goes to confront the rotten cop and beats him up along with a number of his guys.
Lily continues to “take good care” of her miserable husband, gloating over how she had married him for his power. Upon arriving home, Cardo gets scolded by his dear wife when she finds out what he had done earlier.
Delfin actually has a nightmare where he’s taunted by the first lady, the bank manager and the president. Arturo has a talk with his wife about how Lily has the dumb president under her full control. Cardo reflects on his first meeting with Delfin and a couple of other moments. As he wallows in misery, Alyana shows up to add her drama on top.
Lily manages to sneak out of the Palace to meet up with Juan and Ernesto and she demands that they put aside their differences and work together for the good of the organization. Cardo and his team talk to the family about Delfin’s situation and he vows to find a way to get him out of prison even without the dumb president’s help.
In spite of Yolly’s worries, Grandma Flora believes that truth and justice will prevail eventually.
During dinner at the Palace, Oscar asks Lily if she had gone out last night and she makes him believe that she had really been by his side all night long. Elizabeth exchanges a look with Ambo.
In the meantime, Hipolito meets up with the bank manager and her accomplice to give them half payment for their services, with the promise of paying the rest once Delfin is sentenced. He then warns them to be extra careful and never try to betray him. Cardo arrives at work in a sullen mood and Jerome, Billy and the others try to talk to him and assure him that they’re with him in the tough situation.
At home, Alyana talks to Grandma Flora about how she had been very upset with her husband last night. Flora urges her to talk to him again when he’s calmed down. Back at camp Crame, Ramil and the others discuss the matter at hand and look forward to prove Delfin’s innocence.
While Delfin is served breakfast in detention, General Dela Cruz summons three decorated female officers for a confidential mission within Task Force Agila. Major Opeña, the superior of the girls, would lead Task Force Agila together with our favorite hero Captain Dalisay.
