Joyce Accepts Lawrence’s Proposal. Kristine’s Resentment Prevails. Lawrence Goes Against His Family. Noel Picks A Fight With Lawrence. Alejandra Plots To K!ll Joyce On Her Wedding Day.
Ronaldo and Alejandra went to see Lawrence at the hospital. He had been transfered to his own private room and Ronaldo told Lawrence that he was moving him to another department at the company so that he could reduce his interaction with Joyce. Lawrence told them that they were ganging up on Joyce and he felt something special for her unlike the other women he had dated.
Alejandra and Ronaldo insisted on keeping Lawrence away from Joyce and so Lawrence decided to prove to them that he løved Joyce. He got put of bed in his hospital robe in search of Joyce. He found that Joyce had just been discharged so he rushed to catch up with her.
He found Joyce just before she left the hospital and asked her to make a new contract with her. He got down on his knee and asked her to marry him. Joyce asked him to get up, telling him that she did not want Lawrence to lose the support of his family because of her but Lawrence was adamant.
He got down on his knee once more. Kristine who had followed Lawrence along with Lourdes watched the scene from a far and was dismayed. It was then that Ronaldo and Alejandra caught up with Lawrence, only to find him on his knee infront of Joyce, Shakira, Imelda and Jason.
Alejandra asked Lawrence to stand and told him that she would not allow him to get married to a woman like Joyce. She continued to insult Joyce until Imelda asked Ronaldo to make his wife shut up. Lawrence too defended Joyce and Alejandra threatened to disown him if he insisted on marrying Joyce. Lawrence’s reply was “So be it.”
With that, Alejandra was gone. Joyce accompanied Lawrence back to his room and helped him get to bed. Lawrence told Joyce he løved her and asked her of her answer to his proposal. Joyce took her time answering but ultimately said yes, telling Lawrence that she løvëd him too.
Lawrence tore up his hospital gown and tied a ribbon on Joyce’s finger as a sign of an engagement ring. Later, Imelda got in a row with Kristine and Lourdes and ended up calling Lourdes a loose woman. Ronaldo arrived in time to split them up. Kristine got upset with Ronaldo for once again refusing to see Joyce’s faults.
She got in a fight with Noel as well for always defending Joyce. When Lawrence was discharged from the hospital, he went to live with Joyce and her family because Alejandra had refused to take him back home. He however did not mind and løvëd staying at Joyce’s place.
Since he did not have his family’s support, Imelda bluntly told him to work hard so that he could support Joyce. Noel went to see Joyce to ask her if she was happy with Lawrence after hearing about their quick engagement. He asked Joyce if she løvëd Lawrence and grabbed her.
Lawrence walked outside to see Noel’s hands on Joyce and he punched Noel, asking him to leave his fiancee alone. Lawrence was still weak from his injuries so Noel gave him a good beating but Joyce hit Noel with her broom and asked him to stay away from her. She also told Noel that she løvëd Lawrence.
Meanwhile, Ronaldo is having a relationship with Lourdes which made Kristine very upset when she found out. She insulted her mother but they ultimately made up and she is okay with it. Rigor was spying on Lawrence and he went to tell Alejandra that Lawrence was doing great.
In retaliation, Alejandra made a fake truce with Lawrence, Joyce and Imelda and invited them for dinner. She said that she had accepted Lawrence’s relationship with Joyce and even offered to organize their wedding.During dinner, Joyce saw Rigor and had a memory flash. She excused herself and Lawrence followed her outside.
Alejandra overheard Joyce tell Lawrence that every time she saw Rigor, she started remembering things from her past. After Lawrence, Joyce and her family left, Ronaldo asked Alejandra what she was up to. Alejandra said that she was ensuring Joyce would not report them once she remembered her accident because they would be in laws.
We ended with Alejandra asking Rigor to stay away from Joyce since she was remembering things after seeing him.
