Ronaldo & Alejandra Face Off. Rigor Makes Another Attempt On Joyce’s Life; Lawrence Hurries To The Rescue. Joyce Pulls Through & Begins To Recover Her Forgotten Memories.
Ronaldo went to Kristine’s house to try and explain his situation with Joyce but he was not able to do a good job of it and Lourdes asked him to go away. Lawrence took Joyce and her family home and asked her not to pay attention to what Kristine had said.
He ki$$ed her and left. Joyce remembered Ronaldo trying to force himself on her as she was sleeping but dismissed it as a bad dream. The next morning, Joyce was going to the office when she found Noel waiting for her outside her house.
Noel said he was there as a friend and did not want to see Joyce and Kristine hurting each other. He asked Joyce to stay away from the Castillos. He insinuated that Joyce was getting cosy with Ronaldo and Joyce slapped him. She told him that he only cared about Kristine and he was supposed to know that she was not that kind of person.
Joyce left and went to pack up her things at her office. Lawrence found her boxing her stuff and begged her not to leave again. Joyce got annoyed and shouted at him, saying she had accepted Ronaldo’s help because Lawrence had insisted but she was having problems and wanted to live in peace. Lawrence asked her whether she did not care about him.
Joyce dropped her box of stuff and grabbed Lawrence. She ki$$ed him and one thing led to another. They became intimate in the office. Meanwhile, Ronaldo went to see Alejandra and asked her to stop putting ideas in Kristine’s head. Alejandra told him that she was sure Ronaldo would push through with the annulment and she was not willing to let him be happy.
She threatened to expose Ronaldo as a rapi$t and Ronaldo threatened to expose Alejandra as a mürdërer because she was the one who had ordered Joyce’s death.As Ronaldo was leaving, he heard Rigor talking to someone about getting rid of Joyce and he told him to leave her alone.
Rigor was surprised that Ronaldo already knew that Joyce was still alive but he absolutely refused to leave her alone, saying that she could end up remembering everything and send him to jail. He said that he did not have the resources to stay out of jail unlike Ronaldo so he had to k!ll her. He ended up fighting with Ronaldo because of the issue and it was Alejandra who pulled them apart.
She demanded to know why they were fighting and Rigor told him about Joyce’s return. Alejandra was very mad at Rigor but agreed with him that Joyce had to be finished off. Ronaldo warned the both of them to leave Joyce alone. Joyce’s office started running smoothly but she started avoiding Lawrence.
Lawrence seeked her out so as to convince her that they were good together but Alejandra who had gone to harass Joyce found them about to ki$$ and launched an attack on Joyce, dampening Lawrence’s efforts. Lawrence had to leave with Alejandra so that she could stop harassing Joyce.
Alejandra sent Rigor to finish off Joyce and Rigor sparked a fire in Joyce’s office. She had been trying to get rid of Lawrence, saying she did not want him and his mother to fight because of her. She went into the office and locked herself in and after Lawrence went down the stairs, that’s when the fire started.
Lawrence called Joyce to tell her he would not leave before she talked to him and Joyce told her there was a fire in her office. Rigor had messed with the locks so Joyce could not get out and Lawrence could not get in.Joyce collapsed from inhaling the smoke but Lawrence was able to break the door and get her out. As soon as they were out, Lawrence collapsed as well.
By that time, the fire squad had arrived and took both Lawrence and Joyce to the hospital. Rigor had told Alejandra that he had taken care of Joyce and she was in a good mood until Hannah went and told her that Lawrence was at the hospital. At the hospital, Ronaldo arrived and found Kristine and Noel there.
He told them what had happened and they went there. Imelda and Jason arrived later and Imelda thanked Ronaldo for taking care of Joyce. He even said he would cover the medical expenses. Kristine quipped something, saying that tears were a currency now and Ronaldo asked her not to cause trouble.
It was then that Joyce woke up screaming, saying that she remembered everything that had happened to her. Ronaldo was alarmed! Joyce described how someone had tried to räpe her and how she had been burned but could not remember the faces.
Noel heard the story of how Joyce had lost their child and left the room. Kristine followed him. Alejandra arrived later, very worried about Lawrence but she started to insult Joyce so Ronaldo pulled her outside. He told her that he knew she was behind the fire and Alejandra admitted it.
Ronaldo told her that because of what she had done, Joyce had started to remember. The episode ended with Ronaldo telling Mike that he wished he had not asked Lawrence to help Joyce with her work because he had fallen for her.
