Gu Min Confronts Haoze To Expose Xinyan. Zhengdao Strives To Make Amends. Zhenguo Regains Consciousness. Tension Erupts When Yanan Becomes Pregnant. Tianming Tracks Down Zhenguo’s Surgeon.
In the midst of Jiaxing’s resentment towards Zhengdao, Tianming takes out Jiayu’s family for dinner to celebrate Fenfang’s birthday and manages to lift their spirits up.
Armed with the evidence she had acquired, Gu Min pays a visit to Zhenguo and proceeds to see Haoze to expose Xinyan’s true colors. Following Fenfang’s disappearance, Zhengdao goes out in a desperate search to find her.
Xinyan manages to føøl Haoze yet again with her powers of deception. She wins him over even more when she takes care of Zhenguo after he finally comes out of coma. Suspecting that she could be pregnant, and to save face, Yanan sends Jiaxing to buy a pregnancy test, unwittingly arousing the suspicions of her parents.
Xinyan hides her suspension from work from Haoze.Zhengdao makes deliberate efforts to make it up to Fenfang. Jiaxing’s resistance begin to lessen. Jiayu reaches out to Xinyan’s fake parents. Yanan is distressed when she confirms her pregnancy.
Haoze confronts Xinyan about her fake parents and the fact that she had connived with Dajiu to frame Gu Min; she initially denies it until solid evidence is brought forward. Having been exposed, Xinyan then plays the emotional cards and begs Haoze for his understanding.
After a night of drunkenness and misery, Haoze confesses the truth to Zhenguo in order to exonerate Gu Min. Dajiu comes close to getting caught by the police. Mr. Zheng confronts Jiaxing about his daughter’s pregnancy and urges him to marry her before the pregnancy starts to show. Xinyan refuses to let Jiayu win without another fight.
Haoze becomes even more frustrated at work. Xinyan decides to take advantage of the situation, pretending to be pitiful, lonely and helpless, trying to win his sympathy and find løvë again. Jiaxing continues to hold onto his resentment towards Zhengdao.
Dajiu reaches out to Xinyan and desperate to cover her tracks, she hands him a huge sum of money and urges him to leave before Haoze saw him. Dajiu warned Xinyan not to betray him. Though privy to evidence that could expose Xinyan’s dark past, Jiayu refrains from playing dirty. Guodong has another encounter with Gu Min during the golf tour.
Haoze strives to ruin Tianming and Jiayu’s efforts at work. Xinyan will stop at nothing to see to the fulfilment of her goals. Jiaxing visits Yanan’s parents and things take a drastic turn when Mrs. Zheng figures out what’s been going on. With Tianming’s help, Jiayu comes closer to finding out the truth about Zhenguo’s liver operation.
