Ronaldo Makes Joyce An Offer She Can’t Refuse. Rigor Is Shocked By The Fateful Encounter. Joyce Breaks Up With Noel; Kristine Catches Them Together & Confronts Them In Anger.
The episode began with Joyce having her ättaçk in front of Shakira and Ronaldo. Ronaldo went up to where she was and asked if she was alright and Joyce’s ättaçk subsided. Ronaldo was very concerned about her and Joyce apologized to him.
She told him about the days she used to follow him around hoping to get an interview with him. Ronaldo said that he wanted to repay her for saving Kristine so he asked her to go to Castillo realty the next day, where she would get a job offer. Noel was with Kristine taking care of her when Joyce called.
Kristine overheard his phone call as Noel told Joyce that they would meet the next day so that they could sort out their issues. Imelda found Joyce on the call with Noel and snatched it away from her. She asked her to stop trying to salvage her relationship with Noel and instead focus on the job offer Castillo realty had offered her.
The next day, Joyce met up with Ronaldo’s partner who gave her such a lucrative offer, that she was almost hesitant to accept. Ronaldo’s friend however asked her to consider the deal because it was very good. As Joyce was leaving, she bumped into Rigor who was very surprised to see her alive but Joyce did not pay attention to him and went on her way.
Ronaldo’s friend called Ronaldo to ask him if giving Joyce a job was a good idea but Ronaldo told him that with what he was doing, Joyce would only remember the good things he had done for her so he asked his friend to make sure Joyce accepted the deal and that she was given whatever she asked. Alejandra overheard the call and later asked Rigor to look into the person Ronaldo was hiring. Rigor did not tell Alejandra that it was actually Joyce, the girl he had supposedly k!lled.
Noel went out to meet Joyce, not knowing that Kristine had followed him in a cab. When he arrived at his meeting point with Joyce, she had not yet arrived so he stayed to wait for her. Joyce arrived later after her interview and Kristine who was still in the cab, watched her go and meet up with Noel. She got out of the cab and followed Joyce. Joyce walked up to Noel and hugged him from behind.
Noel turned around and hugged her back. Joyce told him that she had to accept that everyone had moved on in the two years she had been gone and so she had decided she was going to give up on him and move on with her life as well. Noel was not happy that Joyce was letting him go but he ultimately agreed that it was for the best.
They hugged and cried as Kristine watched them and it was until Joyce was about to leave when Kristine showed herself. She was spitting fire and accused both Noel and Joyce of taking advantage of her generosity and betraying her.They both tried to reason with her but Kristine slapped Joyce and pushed Noel away.
She then left in tears. Noel went to Joyce but Joyce asked him to go after Kristine so he did. Unfortunately, Kristine was in no mood for explanations as Noel tried to tell her that he had been confused about Joyce and had even met up with her a couple of times. When Kristine asked him if anything had happened between them, Noel went quiet.
Kristine saw that as a confirmation so she shoved him away and told him she never wanted to see him again. She got into a cab and left and went home to cry to her mother. Joyce also went home and told Imelda that she had ended things with Noel but unfortunately, Kristine had also found out about them.
Rigor had followed Joyce home and he called Alejandra to tell her that Joyce was the girl who had been Kristine’s patient. When Alejandra asked him if there was anything else he had found out, Rigor said there was nothing.
