Noel Proposes To Joyce & Finds It Difficult To Tell Kristine The Truth. Joyce Tries To Compel Noel To Do Her Wish. Alejandra Faces Lourdes.
Kristine and Lourdes were at the hospital after Ronaldo’s heart ättaçk. The doctor had told Kristine that her father needed surgery to remove the clot in his heart but they needed authorisation. Lourdes was telling Kristine to sign the papers since she was a doctor and Ronaldo’s daughter.
It was then that Lawrence arrived and took care of the paper work while Alejandra who was out of the country, nagged at him on the phone, asking that Ronaldo be transferred to another hospital.
Lawrence told Kristine what his mother wanted but Kristine told him that they needed to do what was best for their father instead of getting caught up in their parents’ drama. Later, Noel took Joyce home and Joyce suggested that they both tell Kristine about their relationship though Noel insisted on doing it alone.
When Noel went to the hospital, Kristine was distraught because of her father’s condition as she told him that she felt like she did not have rights to her own father.Kristine added that maybe Noel had entered her life so that she can finally be loved like she deserved and with that, Noel did not tell her about Joyce.
In the evening, Imelda gave Joyce her engagement ring back. Joyce told Imelda that she felt sorry for Kristine because she was the one who had saved her life but Imelda told her that she should not sacrifice Noel just because she felt grateful because it was not her fault that all those things had happened to her.
The next day, Joyce, Imelda and Jason went to Noel’s house and they brought food with them. They ate with Noel’s father and their friend who was not very accommodating to Joyce because he seemed to prefer Kristine. As they were eating, Joyce asked Noel if he had broken up with Kristine. Noel was a bit hesitant but he said he did.
Joyce asked if Kristine was okay and Imelda asked her to let the issue go since everything was okay now. After eating, Joyce and Noel were talking outside when she took out the engagement ring. She was about to propose to Noel when he took the ring from her and said that he was the one who was supposed to propose.
He got down on one knee and asked Joyce if she would marry him. Joyce said a resounding YES! Alejandra finally arrived back home and when he went to see Ronaldo, he found Lourdes and Kristine there but they hurriedly left after seeing her. Alejandra followed them to the bathroom and locked Kristine out so that she could fight with Lourdes.
Lawrence helped Kristine to get the keys to the bathroom but when they did, Alejandra had already slapped Lourdes and Lourdes was about to shove Alejandra’s head in the toilet when Kristine walked in and took her mother away. The next day, Noel went to pick Kristine up to drive her to the hospital. He also brought her flowers to cheer her up. When they got to the hospital, Noel excused himself to go to the bathroom while Kristine walked in to see Ronaldo.
Alejandra was there to take him away as she said that Ronaldo would recover at home. She was rude with Kristine so when they left, Kristine sat down and was crying when Joyce saw her. Joyce had gone for her check up with Shakira and Jason and they all mistakenly thought that Kristine was crying because Noel had broken up with her.
Joyce went up to Kristine to apologize to her and she was about to explain why she was sorry when Noel walked up behind Kristine and Kristine introduced him as her boyfriend.
Jason was about to lash out at Noel but Shakira dragged him away while Joyce gave her pleasantries to Noel and left.
Noel told Kristine that he had been called back to work and left in a hurry. He caught up with Joyce at the hospital’s entrance and told her to get in the car so that they could talk. Monica saw Noel get in the car with a woman and thought it was Kristine but she was surprised when she saw Kristine in her office.
She told Kristine about seeing Noel and a woman get in his car but Kristine said it might have been someone else. Noel took Joyce to their cliff spot and explained to her that he had not told Kristine about them because of her father. Joyce asked him if he løved Kristine and Noel only said that he could not hurt her.
Joyce then told him that he did not løve her because he was okay with hurting her and not Kristine. It was then that Noel told her that he did løve her because he had waited for her for two years and was even about to jump off the cliff but Kristine had saved him.
They were arguing when Kristine called Noel and Joyce snatched his phone away, saying she would tell Kristine about them. Noel reached for her and begged her not to tell Kristine. The phone was not answered. Kristine was at Noel’s shop as she was calling him but her father told her that Noel had gone to the warehouse and maybe had no network.
Ronaldo called Kristine to check in with her but after his phone call, Alejandra walked in and started arguing with him. Ronaldo said he preferred to die than to stay with her.
