“If you won’t allow me to fight them, you might as well k!ll me then. This is my life. It’s my responsibility to protect myself. I’d rather fight and die a meaningful death, than hide in fear from my enemies forever.”
The miserable Senator Paglinauan puts on a pathetic show at the expense of the Lumakads, spouting some nonsense about how he had been wrongfully imprisoned for a crime he hadn’t committed. He offers his miserable condolences to Berto along with an envelope of money, and Berto puts the miserable old man in his place, branding him as a demon, and rightly so.
The neghbours hold him off as he tries to get his hands on Paglinauan for having gotten his wife and son k!lled. Tristan demands that Paglinauan get the hell out of their territory. Doc seconds him and the miserable old man goes on with his act, professing to turn himself in if he and his men have any hand in Dory’s death and Miyo’s disappearance.
Malia (Toni) looks on silently as the miserable old man turns to leave. Meanwhile Prof T suggests to Samantha that they let Tristan go since he’s been giving them so much problems. Samantha however insists that they need to protect him since he’s also part of the prophecy.
“But what about Toni?” Prof T asks.
“We will accept her.”
“That’s dangerous. We don’t know who she is or where she came from. She could be a spy of Supremo.”
“In that case, we keep our enemies closer,” Samantha declares.
Toni (Malia) fails to stop Tristan from recklessly going after Paglinauan to confront him. Tristan exchanges words with the senator on account of the stunt he had pulled earlier. He mentions that Miyo had already told him of what had actually happened and Paglinauan concludes that he was the one who had released the video Miyo had recorded.
The members at the LLU deplorably watch the trending videos of Catleya being tortured, just as Malia tries to do damage control by trying to rubbish the senator’s suspicions. Tristan being Tristan angrily and foolishly declares that he was indeed the one who had released the video and the senator gloats over how the people now see him as a hero on account of that.
Meanwhile, Supremo plots to push through with the next step of his diabolic plans by using Catleya as bait to slay all the members of La Liga Unida. While Toni makes an attempt to talk some sense into Tristan, Paglinauan informs Supremo of the guy behind the video release who happened to be a friend of Miyo’s.
“We have to find out who’s supporting him,” so says the evil vampire lord. “Or will it be faster if I just k!ll him?”
Toni makes Tristan understand the root of senator Paglinauan’s arrogance and his ability to wiggle out of all his troubles – his alliance with Supremo. She tries to reason with him to put a stop to his compulsiveness.
However, Tristan is dead set on getting justice for Dory and Miyo’s deaths. Naïve as can be, he vows to make Paglinauan and Supremo pay. Speaking of, the senator tries to make the evil vampire lord realize that Jacinta has been trying to confuse and provoke him.
Supremo vows to make Lia lose the game she’s been playing. The LLU study the video of Catleya’s torture, and with Lemuel manning the PC, they’re able to find a clue of the location where the video had been taken. Malia arrives soon after to learn of the situation.
At the Moonchasers HQ, Samantha shows Prof T the trending video, saying that the vampires are spreading it to catch the members of the LLU. Stating that the undead scums are too dangerous for them to fight alone, Prof T suggests that they find someone who can match Supremo’s power.
“Focus on Zeny Mallari first,” Samantha states. “And leave this to me.”
Despite knowing that the vampires have probably set a trap for them, the LLU is hell-bent on saving Catleya. As Supremo puts things in place at his lair, Vergel’s pack of werewolves show up at the LLU to offer their assistance. They then begin discussing the best strategy for their mission.
At Youtopia, Jacinta strikes up a conversation with Gilbert (Supremo) about his personal life and proposes that they get out of town tonight to relax and have fun so they could get to know each other better. Gilbert agrees and Jacinta insists on taking care of the preparations.Read Next Episode on The Blood Moon Episode 37
