Peterson Flares Up & Turns Abusive Again. Rita Files For Annulment. Kiko’s Relationship With Hannah Falls Apart Over A Shocking Revelation. Tupe Delivers His Baby With Rita.
Peterson goes ballistic over the disappearance of his wife and he makes futile attempts to get to her. Kiko’s intention to officially express his interest in Hannah leads to the revelation of a dirty secret of his father that could ruin his life completely.
Once Rita returns home, she suffers the full brunt of her husband’s childish anger and brutality. Acting on a notice from Raymond, Tupe cuts short his dinner date with Paulina and manages to help out Rita after she escapes from her miserable husband.
Rita pulls through with her baby intact and decides to take necessary measures to keep Peterson away from her. Olivia threatens the nanny who had witnessed Peterson’s abuse to be silent. An altercation ensues between Tupe and Peterson.
Rita calls it quits with her husband, determined to file for annulment. Kiko’s relationship with Hannah falls apart on account of his father’s desperation for them to move out of Talisay.Tupe receives an offer of a lucrative job abroad. Rita’s visit to Margaret’s grave is interrupted by Peterson’s sudden appearance.
Shocked by his handiwork, Peterson makes a futile, pathetic attempt at redemption. After Rita puts him in his place, he decides to grant her the divorce before news of his impotence is exposed. Kiko tails his father to the grave of Tupe’s father and makes a shocking discovery. This leads him to push Hannah further away.
Not wanting Peterson to find her again, Rita moves out of her mother’s place and finds somewhere else to live with the help of Meggie and Raymond. When the abuse she suffered starts to take a toll on her, Tupe hurries to her aid. He turns down the Canada job to build his own hospital.
Fortunately, a former patient of his gifts him the land he needs to accomplish his dream. Hannah throws a fit upon finding out that her brother has no plans of leaving the country and had chosen Rita over their family again.Paulina decides to leave for the US, having figured out that she stands no chance with Tupe.
Peterson finally finds Rita again and makes a shady deal with her. Rita moves again. Hannah reaches out to Kiko and tries to figure out the reason for their sudden estrangement. Kiko soon confronts his father over his involvement in the mürdër of Tupe and Hannah’s father.
In partnership with Simon, Tupe moves to Cavite to build his hospital which would be in close proximity to Rita’s new residence, courtesy of Raymond. Peterson becomes desperately obsessed to track down Rita before the set date for the annulment. Ironically, Olivia hinders him for obvious reasons.
Rita finally puts to bed and names her child Andrew, having been delivered by Tupe. Kiko struggles to come to terms with reality. Following a visit from her mother and brother, Rita reveals the truth about Andrew’s real paternity, shocking everyone; she acknowledges Tupe as the father and promises to make it up to him.
