Xinyan Desperately Tries To Cover Up Her Sinister Scheme. Tianming Becomes Suspicious. Jiayu Recovers & Reconciles With Tianming.
Xinyan and Haoze were having dinner together when they received a call saying that the warehouse was on fire. Xinyan pretended to be very surprised. She rushed to the scene with Haoze and learned from the police that the burned female employee had been sent to the hospital for treatment. Xinyan was restless, worried that Jiayu was not dead and would reveal her secrets.
Jiaxing rushed to the hospital with his family and Tianming told them that Jiayu was out of danger and now in the intensive care unit for observation. Ruirui cried when she saw her mother lying motionless on the hospital bed. Fengfang was afraid of the hospital and wanted to go home and Tianming urged the others to go with her.
Tianming stared at the comatose Jiayu through the glass and recalled how she had called him to confess to him at the most dangerous time. Now that Tianming already knew Jiayu’s true thoughts and feelings, he vowed never to let go again. Xinyan took advantage of Haoze’s sleep in the middle of the night to grab Jiayu’s notebook and misappropriated her formula.
She was afraid that Haoze was suspicious, and so she asked Aunt Nanny to find out the person listed as the sender of the photo. She then asked her to take leave on the pretext of being surprised. Haoze told Xinyan of his suspicions, and she secretly thanked Auntie for leave in advance and tried to find a way to shut her up.
Yanan found Tianming and Jiayu absent from work and she called Tianming and learned that Jiayu was injured due to the fire in the warehouse. Yanan was so anxious to go to the hospital to visit Jiayu, but Tianming asked her to focus on work because he was taking care of her.
Everyone worried that without Jiayu, their ideas would be lost to Group A. After Xinyan directly misappropriated Jiayu’s ideas, she asked her team members to buy top-notch raw beans. The employees in Group A originally disdained Xinyan’s behavior, but were convinced by her ability.
Xinyan knew from Yanan’s mouth that Jiayu was injured and she pretended to be very concerned. Zhengdao went to find Fenfang but didn’t meet her at home. He learned from the landlord’s wife that Jiayu was injured and hospitalized. Jiayu was still in a coma and the doctor told Tianming that she stood a low chance of recovery. Tianming charged him not to tell the Li family.
He decided to go to the police station to cooperate with the investigation. He waited for Jiaxing to come before leaving. Fangfang still seemed to be scared of the hospital. The police concluded that someone deliberately set fire on the spot, and Tianming also provided them with information he knew to help them solve the case.
Later, Tianming went to the security room to see the surveillance video. The security guard saw Xinyan driving in and accidentally said that Xinyan had asked Yuandou to deliver the goods urgently before the warehouse accident. Tianming became suspicious.
Xinyan went to the warehouse to see the aftermath of her diabolic scheme and she learned from the staff that the materials there at the warehouse had been burned. She was secretly happy. Tianming found out that Xinyan temporarily changed the delivery time of the original bean.
Zhengdao rushed to the hospital and saw that Jiaxing was also there. He dared not step forward and could only hide and observe. Seeing the comatose Jiayu brought him to tears. Yanan also hurried to the hospital and bumped into Zhengdao. Zhengdao was somewhat comforted to see that Yanan and Jiaxing had a close relationship.
Fortunately, Jiayu finally regained consciousness, but her body was still very weak. The nurse advised her not to speak and she was soon transferred to the general ward. Tianming saw Jiayu talking with her family and he waited outside so as not to disturb them.
