Cardo Confronts Judge Padua & His Family. President Hidalgo Flares Up Against Diana & Delfin. Lily Sends Mei Lin For The Big Drug Deal. Diana Tails Mei Lin & Calls Cardo For Backup.
The miserable ombudsman Castillo is hellbent on following the orders of the dumb president to expedite the prosecution process and make Secretary Borja pay for his alleged crimes. She charges her lackeys to resort to whatever means necessary to ensure that Delfin signs the waiver so they can have access to his bank records.
Lily talks to Mei Lin about how no one will be able stop her from becoming the most powerful drug lord in the country. Helen whines nonstop about her irritation for the captain, declaring that she and her family will be no match for them once her husband becomes the executive secretary of the president.
In the meantime, Alyana informs Grandma Flora of the altercation between judge Jimbo (Padua’s son) and his wife and they decide to pursue the case and have the creep punished for what he had done.
Lily receives a phone call from Mr. Wells who requests for her assistance to transport a huge drug shipment to Binondo.
Mei Lin offers to handle the matter and Lily enlists Juan to help out. Delfin and Diana return home and as they converse with Grandma Flora, Cardo and his team also arrive. Cardo informs them of Mendoza’s mürdër and the probable suspect behind it.
On phone, the dumb president assents to the miserable ombudsman’s intention to deliver a summons to Delfin. Arturo returns home to announce the good news to his family and they’re all excited. He charges everyone to be careful from now on so things don’t go haywire.
Helen and Jimbo make mention of the incident with the captain and appalled, Arturo states that they can’t afford to go against the wife of our favorite hero since it would definitely mean trouble for them. When Cardo sees Letlet’s wounds and asks what happened, Alyana covers up the truth and claims that she had merely fell when she had been playing with the other kids.
The next morning, Domeng spills the beans and Cardo gets enraged to find out the truth. He makes Domeng take him to judge Padua’s house, with Alyana, Grandma Flora and everyone else following close behind in apprehension.
Cardo screams out Jimbo’s name and the Padua family march out with Arturo in the lead. When the rotten judge asks what the problem is, Cardo states that his son had almost k!lled his daughter and disrespected his grandma, and his wife had been very rude.
Delfin makes a futile attempt to settle things calmly, even as a battle of words ensue between him and Padua’s family. Arturo actually threatens to sue our favorite hero and manipulate the law against him. Unfazed, Cardo declares that he would then take the law into his own hands. Alyana calms down her dear husband and manages to convince him to let go and leave.
Jimbo føølishly states that he’s messed with the wrong people. Cardo turns to glare before dropping the føøl with a single punch to the face. An altercation ensues and the Agila guys hold back our favorite hero from beating up the scoundrel some more, even as he continues to run his mouth.
Arturo vows to make him pay for what he did. Ombudsman Castillo meets up with General Dela Cruz to inform him of the case against Secretary Borja. Dela Cruz is in disbelief even after seeing the blasted evidence that had been gathered against him.
Cardo and his team arrive at camp Crame to discuss the incident earlier as well as how the honourable judge now seems corrupt. In the meantime, Jimbo whines about wanting to get rid of Cardo and his team for good and Arturo states that they would only go on the offensive once they strengthen their defence.
Diana decides to tail Mei Lin as soon as she steps out of the Palace. She calls Delfin and Cardo to notify them. When Oscar sends Edwin to summon Diana for a talk, James covers for her. After Lily feeds him his “medicine”, the dumb president throws a fit over Diana’s sudden disappearance and even threatens to fire her.
Delfin suspects that Lily is behind the Oscar’s sudden change in character. Lily calls Mei Lin to warn her to be careful. Diana spies on the ruthless assassin as she meets with Mr. Wells at the warehouse to assure him that everything is ready for his delivery.
After secretly observing for a while, Diana calls Cardo on phone to notify him and ask for backup. Cardo alerts Basco who assembles the team to move out immediately.
