Hipolito Forms An Alliance With Arturo. Mei Lin Is Tailed By Mendoza. Lily Makes Arturo An Offer & Plots Delfin’s Downfall. After Taking In Letlet, Cardo & His Family Go Out On A Picnic Together.
Hipolito has a talk with Jacob about their next line of action and they consider getting rid of potential threats in the Palace, particularly Diana and Delfin. Ironically, Lily also talks to her puppeteer about the very same matter – she also plans to get rid of Diana and Delfin and replace them with her allies since they already know that she’s an enemy.
Following Krista’s funeral, Cardo and his family strive to cheer up Letlet and they consider taking her on a picnic trip to get her mind off things. Juan gladly offers to help out in terms of getting a vehicle for the journey. Arturo discusses the shady family business with his wife and son and he laments over the problems our favorite hero could potentially cause them.
A moment later, he meets up with Hipolito who offers to form an alliance with him. Renato wants to rule the government through Lily and he wants to use the former judge as a stepping stone to achieve his ambitions.
Arturo seems to agree. A series of flashbacks reveal his criminal ways in the past and how his legitimate family had been mürdëred following the sentencing of Tomas Tuazon. Back at the Palace, Lily tells Mei Lin about a potential reliable and trustworthy candidate she has in mind to replace Diana – Arturo Padua.
She soon calls him on phone to offer him a position in the government provided he remains loyal to her. Once Diana sees Mei Lin leaving the Palace, he calls Basco to alert him and he in turn notifies Mendoza to be on the lookout.
While Juan goats over how he continues to deceive his enemies so easily, Cardo and Alyana have a heartfelt conversation with Letlet and they assure her that they would take care of her from now on as her parents. The little girl is delighted and excitedly looks forward to the picnic tomorrow. Mendoza tails Mei Lin to a meeting with a shady character and subtly takes video evidence.
Mei Lin later notifies Lily after the successful business negotiation. Diana and Delfin get word of her meeting with the big-time drug dealer. They refrain from telling the president right away since he wouldn’t believe that his dear wife was involved without solid evidence.
Speaking of, the dumb president receives a phone call from a blasted ombudsman who tells him of how Secretary Borja had turned corrupt in office. Cardo, Alyana and Letlet share their excitement for the day by dancing throughout the cleaning of the house and while preparing breakfast, as well as doing the laundry together.
Eventually, they all dress up and head to Flora’s house to join the others. Arturo meets up with Hipolito again to inform him of Lily’s offer to be executive secretary to the president. Renato couldn’t be anymore happier.
While Lily continues to drug her dumb husband, Diana and Delfin take Cardo and the guys aside to update them on their investigation on Mei Lin and how the president’s health seems to be deteriorating.Cardo urges them to keep a closer eye on Oscar to ensure his wellbeing. Hipolito gladly tells Jacob of how Arturo is on their side and would help in the fulfilment of their ambitions.
In the meantime, Lily asks Mei Lin to create a diversion so she can slip out of the Palace undetected by security. Cardo and his family and friends set out for the picnic, with Juan as part of them of course. The snake had come to know of Task Force Agila’s investigation on Lily. Dumb president Hidalgo feels dizzy but refuses to see a doctor.
He proceeds to meet with ombudsman Castillo who blabbers some nonsense about how Delfin had been in cahoots with Tomas Tuazon in his illegal drug operations in the past. She produces some phoney witnesses and Oscar is in disbelief and reluctant to take the bait. He charges Castillo to come up with irrefutable evidence to support her claims.
Meanwhile, Cardo and family and friends arrive at their destination and eagerly look forward to having some fun for change. Back at the Palace, the dumb president deliberates on his recent discovery; he vows not to forgive Delfin if it’s proven that he’s indeed guilty of betraying him and the government.
