Rita & Tupe Are Shocked By The Disturbing Truth. Tupe Files A Case Against Olivia & Peterson, Provoking Them To Scheme Against Him. Peterson Becomes Devastated When He Loses In The Election.
Tupe is scorned and rejected by the people due to his tarnished reputation. When Hannah finds him in Rita’s company, she blows a fuse and throws a fit. The residents of Talisay reach out to Rita to help them clear Tupe’s name.
Peterson gets pretty upset when he learns that his wife had gone to see her ex. Hannah’s wayward lifestyle leads to her losing her job. Rita is appalled and shocked when she finally discovers that her husband had been investigating her and Tupe.
Tupe asks for Raymond’s help to find engineer Abad. Following the ättaçk on the infamous engineer, and how Tupe had saved him from certain dëäth, Abad finally confesses everything, pointing out the Alvarezes as the ones behind the water poisoning.
Both Tupe and Rita are shocked by the truth. In no time, Rita confronts her husband over his criminal ways and proceeds to pack up her stuff to leave, leaving Peterson devastated. Tupe files a case against Olivia and Peterson.
Peterson reaches out to Rita, who only agrees to work things out as long as he agrees to her conditions. Peterson convinces Rita to return home and they agree not to cause an issue within the family because Rita was upset with Olivia.
Since Rita could not testify to help Tupe, she gave him the recording they made with Engineer Abad. When the court hearing began, Engineer Abad took to the stand as a witness and revealed everything that Olivia had ordered him to do.
Meanwhile, Olivia plans to use Tupe’s past relationship with Rita to help them with the case. Peterson objected to the idea since he does not want his wife involved in a scandal. Instead, he suggested that they use Tupe’s corrupt father to ruin his credibility.
Rita reaches out to the people of Talisay to make amends and Tupe comes to her defense when they lash out at her. Things tend to get dramatic and chaotic as the case progresses. Unfortunately, Tupe loses in court in spite of the evidence against Olivia.
As the press takes an interest in the matter, Olivia cooks up another scheme against Tupe which doesn’t go as planned. Rita, who couldn’t stomach the atrocities her family had committed, stepped down for her husband to run for Congress in the election.
However, Peterson loses miserably so he decides to vent out his anger and frustrations on Rita. Tupe and Hannah begin to get along. While Tupe gets closer to Paulina, Peterson becomes excessively possessive of Rita.
