Tupe Becomes Obsessed With Getting Justice; He Soon Has An Unfriendly Encounter With Peterson. Rita Is Provoked To Further Suspicions Regarding The Issue With Vela Mines.
Tupe’s friend Simeon brought Maggie a bag of the fruits Rita had been craving for as a token to be given the consideration. As Tupe looked on nearby, Simeon took Maggie’s phone number.
Peterson has a talk with his friend about how he no longer has cause to worry that her beloved wife was having an affair with Tupe. Speaking of, Rita enjoyed the fruits that Simeon had brought but when she finds out from Maggie that they were from Tupe, she stopped eating them and handed them over.
While Kiko has another unfriendly encounter with Hannah, Tupe hangs out with Paulina, ranting about the water contamination issue and the people who had been victimized. Paulina steals a ki$$ and makes note of how she’s proud of him for going out of his way to help the people.
Later, Tupe was informed that he would be reported for medical malpractice because of a patient who died under his care. He had tried to see the patient but was not able to attend to him due to the drowsiness caused by the pain medication he takes for his arm. He had seen Olivia lurking around Talisay with engineer Abad.
Tupe went to see the patient’s wife Mrs. Perla and was able to deduce that the Salcedos had either paid or threatened her to accuse him. Upon returning to the hospital, Simeon showed him some social media posts of engineer Abad flaunting his luxurious possessions, making Tupe even more suspicious.
That night, Tupe sent Rita a ton of messages about engineer Abad and his connection to her mother-in-law Olivia. Rita was in the washroom then and Peterson almost saw the messages. Later, Rita read them and began to wonder why Olivia had met with Abad.
Olivia had a talk with her son about how Abad was demanding more money. Peterson and Rita were invited for a birthday party at Talisay but Rita did not attend. Tension erupted when Tupe set his eyes on Peterson. In the meantime, Rita was in the company of Raymond and Maggie outside Abad’s house.
When a woman came out, they approached her to ask of the engineer, only to learn that he had moved out more than a month ago. At the birthday party, Tupe confronted Peterson for trying to get his medical license revoked. He said that he was not afraid of him and would fight them.
Peterson returned home in a very bad mood to confront his mother about Tupe’s accusations. Olivia admitted that she had indeed tried to get Tupe’s license revoked for talking to Velasquez and trying to make trouble for them.
Peterson lashed out at his mother, saying that she had just made things worse with her actions. Tupe sent Rita a text to tell her that something was going on with the mines and engineer Abad knew about it. Rita tried to contact the engineer and set up a meeting with him.
She threatened to have him arrested if he tried to escape. A meeting was then arranged and wTupe found out about it from Maggie. He was worried about Rita’s safety so he decided to go over there.
