Tupe Reaches Out To Rita For Help To Clear Vela Mines Name. Peterson Is Alarmed When Rita Discovers The Truth. He Tries To Cover His Tracks, All The While Plotting A Sinister Scheme.
After Tupe left Rita, he tried to call Hannah in tears hoping to talk to her. Hannah hanged up on him, telling him not to disturb her. Rita went to the fertility clinic to get her eggs extracted.
She told the doctor that she wanted to be ready when they found another sperm donor. When she got home, she told Peterson that she had met with Tupe to clear up everything and also told him about their child.
She said that she løvëd him (Peterson) and still wanted them to have a child. Peterson pulled away and asked her to leave him alone. Later, Rita heard Peterson and Olivia speaking about buying Vela mines. She was surprised to hear that they were going to buy the mine.
Tupe got the results from the lab where he had conducted the test on the water to find out what had contaminated it. The results stated that the contamination was from petroleum and he was confused because it couldn’t have come from Vela mines.
He therefore figured out that the mine was not polluting the river and had been closed down unfairly. He tried to contact Mr. Velasquez, the owner, to let him know but could not reach him.
Tupe tried to call Rita but she ignored his calls.
He texted to tell her that they had to talk about Vela mines.Rita answered his call and Tupe told her about what he had found out regarding the contamination. Rita told Peterson that they had to clear Vela mines of the accusation and Peterson was alarmed because Rita knew the truth.
He talked to Olivia because what she had done might be revealed. Olivia referred Peterson to the engineer she had paid to set up Vela mines and told him what to do. Tupe got the engineer’s number, hoping to stop the sale of the mines because they had been wrongfully accused.
The engineer agreed to meet him but did not plan to. Peterson had asked engineer Abad to agree to the meeting but then he shouldn’t show up. To stop Rita from worrying about the mines, Peterson staged a drug overdose.
Rita found him on the floor with pills around him and brought him to the hospital. After Peterson woke up, he told Rita that he wanted to be happy with her. He explained that he bought the mines to protect the people at Talisay because he had come to care for them.
He also told Rita that he wanted to have Tupe as their sperm donor if he no longer meant anything to Rita. Peterson’s plan is to make Rita have Tupe’s child and use the child against Tupe since he’s the one who would have custody of the child.Read Next Episode on When Love Burns Episode 17
