“We can’t just blindly follow all their instructions anymore. We never know what the vampires are thinking. The Moonchasers are keeping far too many secrets from us. It’s hard to trust them fully.”
Tristan ushers Toni (Malia) to her seat at the restaurant. Meanwhile, Madam Star warily asks Samantha why she’s come looking for her when she had already told her of what she had seen before.
A flashback reveals how she had read Samantha’s palm and foretold a prophecy regarding the blood of the man with the cursed ink. Presently, Star laments over having been sought out again and Samantha reveals that she hasn’t come to have her fortune read but to seek a guardian to look into the future.
Madam Star argues that her visions aren’t that clear and thus, she wouldn’t be of much help. However, Samantha urges her to give it a shot. She hands her a supposedly powerful black stone to make her visions clearer.
Star reluctantly obliges. Back at the restaurant, Tristan laments over the recent discovery regarding the head of the Moonchasers being a vampire whom Prof T also reports to. As he goes on with his doubts on the existence of good vampires, Toni points out that Samantha had gone against her own kind to save his friends.
“They’re just deceiving us,” Tristan states. “And after they successfully get rid of the reigning vampire, they’re going to take his place.”
“You still don’t know her that well,” Toni argues. “You can’t assume…”
“Toni, this world we live in is for mankind. It’s for people like you and me. It’s not for vampires or whatever other creatures out there.”
Samantha asks Madam Star if she had seen anything and she replies in the negative and apologizes, saying that she’s just a fortune teller and such stones don’t seem to work on her. Samantha thanks her all the same for trying.
Meanwhile, Tristan apologizes to Toni for venting his frustrations out on her and proceeds to reveal the reason why he had wanted to meet up with her. Realizing that she also belongs to a group, Tristan makes deliberate efforts to convince her to join forces. Toni however turns down his offer, saying that it’s complicated and she would tell him about it in due time.
While the LLU discuss about Gilbert Imperial, Jake receives a text message from the Moonchasers regarding a scheduled interview for the next day. Baristo then urges Jake to focus on the group and get all the information he can about them and their operations.
Mrs. Zeny Mallari cries out for justice over her husband’s death, refusing to believe that he had indeed committed süçide. Gilbert and Paglinauan watch the live telecast. The senator suggests that they get rid of Zeny since she could be a major blockade to his plans if she goes against him in the elections.
“I can’t do that,” Gilbert says. “It might do more harm than good.”
“That woman might be able to defeat you in the presidential race,” Paglinauan cautions.
Miyo (Malia) informs her fellow LLU members about the name of the vampire who had helped out the Moonchasers and is apparently their leader. Gael finds the name familiar, though he finds it hard to believe that it’s the same Samantha he had known from the past since she’s already dead.
Baristo charges Jake to make it his priority to find out who the vampire really is once he’s able to infiltrate the Moonchasers. Senator Paglinauan recounts Supremo’s Gilbert Imperial personality which he’s built over time with his numerous charity works as well as the fact that he was considered as a hero after his actions during the bank robbery.
The senator however mentions that it’s still not enough since Zeny has the support and sympathy of the public. He and Nisha suggest that they acquire a strategist to transform his Gilbert Imperial personality in order to earn the people’s acceptance.
They recommend to Gilbert a management firm called M & L Strategist who had helped the current Indonesian president win in the elections. Manuel approaches Miyo and asks if he can stomach doing illegal jobs to earn some money since he had told him before that he needed extra cash.
Miyo replies in the positive, saying that she’s willing to do anything to make more money. Tristan urges Piolo to organize the other Moonchasers who are against the recent happenings as well as Prof T and Samantha are concerned. Manuel hands Miyo a package and charges him to follow his instructions – simply deliver it and earn 50,000 pesos.
Bill Mejia, the owner of M&L Strategist meets up with Gilbert to speak about the situation of the Indonesian president and how Jacinta Magsaysay, his most renowned worker had transformed the greedy businessman, womanizer and gambler into someone who could actually be a good public servant.
As Gael and Erin hang around outside the Moonchasers HQ, Jake and a few others are welcomed by Prof T for the auditioning. After failing to convince Bill to have Jacinta rehired so she could take care of his campaign strategy, Gilbert uses his power to compel him to do his wishes.Read Next Episode on The Blood Moon Episode 30
