“The prophecy has changed. Supremo will live. So I’m hoping you will accept my offer. As I impose dominion over all vampires, and as I govern the entire country as its leader.”
The episode begins with Tristan driving with Toni (Malia) asleep in the adjacent seat. He takes turns staring at her for a while to the point where she eventually wakes up. Meanwhile, Prof T scolds the Moonchasers on the recent stunt they had pulled with Lemuel. Leo and his comrades recount how the vampires they had encountered had proposed that they join forces against Supremo.
A little amazed, Prof T asks if they had mentioned anything about the Lunas and the guys reply in the negative. Supremo indulges Nognog by taking him out. Soon enough, he goes ahead to expose his true intentions of reaching out to the allies of Jethro and Veruska.
While Toni (Malia) strives to talk Tristan out of taking her home, Chino suddenly whirls right into their path, compelling Tristan to pull over. Tristan steps out to engage the vampire, and Malia joins the fight as a few other vampires make their presence felt. For a while, Tristan is overpowered by Chino though he eventually manages to finish him off.
While Tristan hurried to back up Malia, Supremo goes on to spout some crap about all his actions being for the good of all vampires, adding that Nognog has a huge part in his plans. Nognog laments over how he had made him into a monster and taken him from his family. Supremo spouts some more nonsense and resorts to freezing him with his power. He then goes through his pocket to find Jethro’s note.
“The prophecy has changed. Supremo will live.”
Supremo gloats with malicious satisfaction and puts the note back in its place a moment before Nognog recovers to join the land of the undead. He then pulls over and out of the ‘goodness’ of his heart, he allows Nognog to go scot-free. More gloating by the evil vampire lord. Back in San Isidro, Tristan and Toni (Malia) fight side-by-side against the vampires.
They finish off most of them, compelling the others to flee. In no time, they get back on the road and Tristan and Malia begin to wonder out loud why vampires show up whenever they meet. Tristan and Toni (Malia) share the stories of how their parents had been k!lled by vampires.
Stating that they’re both fighting for the same thing, Tristan urges Toni to ally with him and join his group to put an end to Supremo’s reign. However, Malia turns down his offer for fear of having her real identity exposed, thereby impeding her own mission. The minions of Supremo discreetly tail Nognog as he strives to track down the location of the Moonchasers’ headquarters.
The LLU watch the videos of the history and origin of the vampires in the Moonchasers’ website. Speaking of, Nognog finally finds the headquarters of the Moonchasers and proceeds to head in blindly. The vampire spies call to notify Supremo, who decides to send over additional forces to annihilate the group that’s been causing him so much trouble.
“How come?” Tristan asks way back in San Isidro.
“It’s complicated, Toni says. “I have my reasons. I wish your group all the success, but be very careful, your enemy is no ordinary being.”
While Prof T questions A.D about the loss of his Moonchasers wristband, Nognog rears his amateurish head to deliver the note. Prof T and the Moonchasers brace themselves for a fight as Nognog cautiously explains the reason for his coming.
Upon learning that he had come from Supremo’s lair, Prof T subdues Nognog and urges his men to leave since he’s certain that the place has now been compromised. And off do they go, with Prof T setting off a bømb which disintegrates the entire building. Toni (Malia) asks for Tristan’s cellphone number, saying that she would call him just in case she changes her mind.
Meanwhile, the LLU begin discussing about the Moonchasers. Baristo suggests that they find them and join forces if they have the same objective. Jake then offers to infiltrate their group. At the vampires’ lair, Supremo shows up in the dungeon to gloat and taunt Jethro and Veruska with what he’s learned about the change in the prophecy. Read Next Episode on The Blood Moon Episode 28
