A Business Scandal Puts A Rift Between Juan & Sarah. Julieta Makes It Her Mission To Demonize Her Rival. Pedro Decides To Capitalize On The Opportunity. Sarah Is Shocked By Juan’s Reaction.
Pedro and Modesto have a little fight in the kitchen. Modesto asks why he turned against his own friend and Pedro tells him to spare him the lectures because he isn’t interested. Lucas comes in looking for Sarah and he’s informed that she went out with Juan.
Modesto tries to comment on it but Pedro tells him to stick to his job and not meddle in family affairs as it’s none of his business. Prospero and Rosa return home. Rosa is really tense because apparently Jessica is living in a dumb site.
Prospero tries to calm him down and the conversation turns to if Rosa still løvës Prospero. Rosa avoids this question. Lucas is still in shock as to why Sarah and Juan are løvers. Juan and Sarah are still roaming around the town square talking about how Julieta reacted and how Juan hopes that his brothers will later accept it.
Sarah believes that it won’t be easy but the good thing is that they løvë each other. Juan promises to make Sarah something to eat for dinner as they don’t want to disturb Modesto. Sarah will be glad because after they eat they’ll eat again LOL. They also talk about Tadeo’s paternity and they all feel bad for Modesto.
Julieta is disturbed by Juan and Sarah being together and she ends up taking off her engagement ring which she keeps in a drawer. The next morning, she’s summoned to the farm by Brayan who shows her how the new fertilizer affected the crops.
Deborah goes to the ranch house for breakfast and ends up getting in an argument with Modesto. Sarah and Juan talk business in the office and she informs him that she gave Adela a job at the Hacienda.Juan doesn’t have anything against that despite the fact that she’s mixing business with her personal life.
Julieta ruins the moment by telling Juan that the fertilizer ruined the avocado production so they’ll not export them due to retarded maturation. She then turns to Sarah and tells her that it’s her fault. Deborah tells Modesto that the Del Montes don’t care about him and Pedro only did what he did to Cornelio to hurt him. Modesto thinks she’s only trying to cause a rift in the family.
Deborah reveals that Tadeo is Pedro’s son and Modesto finds it hard to believe. Sarah is surprised that the avocados had resisted the fertilizers because those fertilizers are the ones that are used in Mexico and the world at large.Julieta reminds them that farms take long to accept new inputs.
Juan thinks that the moment he trusted Sarah with the task is where he made a mistake – he should have stepped in as the president and done more on the same. Simon is really shocked with the mistake Juan made this time. Pedro tells him that they should be careful because with Juan’s mistakes they might loose all their inheritance.
Simon tries to blame Sarah but Pedro thinks she has nothing to do with that – it’s Juan’s mistake. Juan tells Bruno to cancel all the meetings as they are supposed to go out with Sarah and Julieta. On their way out they meet the investors (Mr Henry and Mr Arnold).
Pedro asks if they are ready to sign the contract and Julieta suddenly reveals that there’s a problem with the crops.Henry is asking if their investments are in trouble but Juan and Sarah tell them that there’s no problem, it’s just a minor setback. Pedro tells the investors to have faith in the president.
Julieta is about to yap out again infront of the investors and she’s made to shut up. Mateo calls to report to Juan that the fields look disastrous. There’s not even one single avocado to be picked. Everyone turns an evil eye to stare at Sarah. Later, Mateo makes a video call and shows everyone in the conference room what the field looks like.
Juan promises to be there in a moment. Julieta tries harder to make Sarah look like a devil and Pedro tries to defend her. Juan also does same because he also made a mistake in this but if the investigation proves that the fertilizer is the problem, Sarah will have to take responsibility and carry the cross.
Simon has some information about the fertilizer from the quality control office (KEBS) that no one else knows about. In his office, he shows Juan the information. Juan really doesn’t understand how Sarah made this big mistake. He thinks someone might have messed up with the fertilizers. Simon tells him to lighten up – Sarah and her mom are trying to destroy them.
Juan tells him that they’ll have to hire a foreign company to do the farm analysis to determine what the problem is. Mateo makes it clear to Sarah that it’s all her fault. He informs Juan that his great løvë for Sarah caused all these. As it seems Sarah knows nothing about agriculture.
Prospero suffers a panic attack as soon as Bertha continues with her story about Salvador and Deborah. Bertha is distressed and regretful. Prospero arises from the dead. Suddenly, his panic attack is gone and he mentions what led to the panic attack and Rosa is about to faint. Modesto confronts Pedro on Tadeo’s paternity and Pedro easily confirms it.
Modesto gets angry and calls Pedro a traitor. Pedro grabs him by his shirt and tells him that next time he calls him a traitor, he will k!ll him. Mateo asks Sarah if she’s happy with what she caused.
