Rita Proceeds With The IVF Procedure, Ignorant That Peterson Has A Sinister Agenda. With His Reputation Tarnished, Tupe Becomes Suspicious Of Peterson & Olivia.
After getting the results of the water contamination test, Tupe reaches out to Rita for assistance in clearing Vela Mines’ name. With the whole truth yet to be exposed, Peterson connives with his mother to cover things up; he stages a drug overdose to slow down his wife and prevent her from meeting the engineer involved in the incident.
Unknown to Rita, her beloved husband harbors a sinister plan against Tupe in relation to the IVF procedure/sperm donation. In no time, Tupe tags along with Rita to the hospital where she undergoes the IVF procedure. After failing to meet engineer Abad, Tupe reaches out to Mr. Velasquez, the owner of Vela Mines, and he tells him about the test results.
Velasquez decided to push through with his decision to sell the mines nonetheless.It doesn’t take long for Rita to be confirmed pregnant and Peterson notifies the party that he would take his wife’s place in the office once she puts to bed.
Tupe is delighted when he sees a news headline about Rita being pregnant. Mr. Velasquez questions Olivia about Vela Mines, provoking her to anger and resentment; Olivia gets upset over Tupe’s meddling and so she plans to get rid of him for good so that he doesn’t expose their criminal ways.
Peterson feels at ease with his wife after further investigation confirms that she has nothing going on with Tupe. Tupe risks facing charges of medical malpractice following the patient that had died in his care.
Upon figuring out that the Salcedos have a hand in it, he angrily confronts Peterson for trying to have his license revoked.Tupe then proceeds to notify Rita of what was going on at the mines. On this note, Rita strives to set up a meeting with engineer Abad to set things straight.
Rita confronts engineer Abad regarding his involvement in the closing of the mines and Tupe suspects that his response has no iota of truth in it. He makes known his suspicions to Rita who refuses to believe him without proof. Following an unfortunate incident, Hannah gets kicked out of the community she and Kiko are working at.
Raymond decides to transfer her to Talisay to help Tupe with his work. After Olivia is questioned by Rita about Vela Mines, she charges Peterson to make his wife stop looking into the matter. Meanwhile, Tupe’s reputation suffers a great deal because of the accusations of negligence against him.
