Lazaro, together with what’s left of his men, engage Cardo and his team in a guñfight. At home, Alyana and the rest of the family tend to get worried when they don’t receive an update on the rescue operation. Juan (Lemuel) rears his ugly head to show his blasted concern.
Anyway, after a while when most of his lackeys have been wiped out, Lazaro takes Lily hostage and declares that Cardo and his team don’t know anything about the kind of person they’re trying to rescue. Mei Lin lurks nearby with her güñ at the ready. Just then, Lily elbows Lazaro and runs and Cardo takes the opportunity to shoot Lazaro.
After he takes some more büllëts from Mei Lin, Lazaro turns and güñs Lily down as she escapes. Mei Lin then finishes him off from her hiding spot. With Lazaro confirmed dead, the cops check on Lily and quickly call for an ambulance to transport her to the hospital.
News of the successful rescue operation comes on TV and Hipolito and Jacob hope that Lily survives since the success of their plans depend on her. While Stanley continues with his shady side businesses of kidñappiñg and blackmailing, Lily undergoes operation at the hospital.
At the morgue where Lazaro’s corpse is displayed, Dela Cruz declares that they need to figure out his identity and his motive for attempting to ässassiñate both the president and the first lady. A moment later, he calls Delfin on phone to update him. Grandma Flora and her family are glad to know that the president and his wife are still alive and safe.
