Rita Finally Agrees To Undergo The IVF Procedure, Making Peterson Ecstatic. However, Peterson’s Unfounded Jealousy Drives Rita Further Away. Tupe Struggles To Have The Mine Shut Down.
After Rita and Peterson left Tisay, Rita told Peterson that she would agree to the IVF treatment. Peterson was ecstatic with the news and promised to take care of Rita during the pregnancy. Rita however asked not to know the identity of their sperm donor because she wanted Peterson to be the father in her eyes.
Peterson met with Paulina, a new friend he met at a bar. She tried to seduce him but he was irritable. He said that he had to leave early because he had an early meeting in the morning. Tupe went to meet Rita and the owner of Vela mines. The owner said that they never polluted the river at Talisay and had followed all regulations.
Tupe was mad but Rita asked him not to be agitated since it would take a lot of time for them to resolve the matter.Peterson immediately began to process the donor papers. She had Rita sign them first so that she would not know the name of the donor.
He then went to Talisay to see Tupe so that he could ask him to be the sperm donor. Before he could tell Tupe what he needed, he received a message. It was a picture of Rita meeting with Congressman Regalado. Peterson left immediately and went to confront them.
He ättaçked the congressman and accused Rita of cheating on him. Rita was appalled that Peterson had her followed and refused to listen to her explanation that it was only a meeting. She packed a bag of clothes and left home. Peterson went drinking and told his friend what happened.
He reasoned that Rita should not be upset about being followed if she was not doing anything wrong. Rita went to Vela mines to examine how they carried out their operations. She ran into Tupe there since he too had gone there after they found out that the crops at Talisay were getting rotten.
They did not find anything suspicious at the mines but Tupe insisted they were hiding something. He wanted Rita to have the mine closed but she told him that they had to follow a procedure to make such a decision. Rita left in her car but had a flat tire. Tupe came across her on his bike and offered to help.
Rita did not have a spare tire so they had to get the car towed. Rita decided to walk back since she did not have a ride. Since she did not return home, Peterson went to look for her. He did not find her at her mother’s house.
