“Supremo was only using del Toro. We were the targets. Now is not the time to let your anger consume you! How are you going to avenge your friends? How are you going to avenge your dad if you’re already dead?!”
Malia pierces Tristan with a look and asks why he’s holding her waist. Reminding her that she still owes him for helping her out at the cemetery when she had been badly beaten up, he pleads with her to help him get into the event.
Malia is reluctant and she bombards him with questions. Eventually, Tristan manages to talk her into it. At the LLU base, Baristo and the others find Jake all dressed up and they ask where Miyo (Malia) is.
Meanwhile, Veruska makes another attempt to convince Nognog to side with them and help them escape. Nognog refuses and runs off. Jake covers up what Malia (Miyo) has been up to, claiming that he had just been teaching her how to dress up like a man just in case the senator had an event she would be obliged to attend.
Though Jake comes to learn that Baristo and the others are looking for Tristan, he refrains from telling them his connection with Malia. At the Oasis Lounge, Tristan thanks Toni (Malia) for her help before disappearing. Malia watches senator Paglinauan intently as he has a talk with some people.
Tristan scans the place and realizes that del Toro isn’t present. He then begins wondering why Prof T and the Moonchasers haven’t shown up yet. Anyway, Malia has the shock of her life when Supremo shows up all dressed up. Paglinauan comes to greet him and Malia makes deliberate efforts to keep herself from being made out.
Chino and some other vampires go out in search of their targets. Meanwhile, Tristan goes around Oasis Lounge and mistakes a random guy for A.D. He goes through his phone and discovers Piolo’s messages, particularly about the abortion of the mission.
“So we know that he’s the guy we’re looking for since he has red highlights in his hair,” Baristo says at the LLU base.
“That’s the only lead we have on their group,” Lemuel points out.
“But what if he decides to get a haircut? Or he changes his hair color? He could dye his hair.”
Catleya shows up just them and Baristo asks where she’s going all dressed up. Catleya says she’s going to see Jake and Baristo asks if they’re dating since they seem to be going out together a lot. Admitting that that’s not the case, Catleya fesses up and Baristo is outraged to learn that they’ve been looking for vampires.
Meanwhile, Jake sets his trap and lies in wait for a vampire to show up. However, it’s a group of hoodlums who turn up to engage in some shady business. In no time, Jake is caught and the scumbags interrogate him and try to finish him off.
Jake evades the büllëts of the scumbags and engages them in a fistfight. He’s momentarily disadvantaged by the numbers game but before he can be güññed down for real this time, Baristo comes to his defense. Lemuel joins the fight which ends as quickly as it had begun.
With the hoodlums knocked out, the trio escape. Back at the Oasis Lounge, Malia watches as Supremo converses with senator Paglinauan. Upon learning that the evil vampire lord goes by Gilbert Imperial, she realizes that the Supremo uses an entirely separate persona when dealing with ordinary people.
“But what for?” Malia wonders. “What else is he planning to do?”
Seraphim del Toro shows up and senator Paglinauan tells Gilbert that among all the businessmen present, he’s the only one who knows of his real identity. Gilbert compels del Toro to relax and he assures him that he has nothing to worry about.
Upon returning to base, Baristo strongly scolds Jake for his reckless actions. Jake argues that he’s just trying to find his mother and Baristo tries to make him understand that they wouldn’t achieve anything if every one of them acted on their impulses.
“If Malia makes the decision to lead a normal life, remember you are next in line to be Lord Sentinel. That means you will be the one leading all of us. So from now on, you need to behave more responsibly.”
Some random admirer excitedly tries to take a photo with Gilbert, only to accidentally soil his clothes with the glass of blood he had been savoring. Toni (Malia) is taken by surprise when Gilbert the Supremo doesn’t do anything drastic in retaliation. Once Gilbert leaves for the washroom, del Toro spots Toni and proceeds to hit on her.
In one of the stalls in the washroom, Tristan talks to Piolo on phone, finding it hard to believe that the mission had really been aborted. As their conversation drags on, Gilbert walks into the washroom and makes pointless attempts to wipe the blood off of himself. A moment later, Tristan comes out to behold the scene.Read Next Episode on The Blood Moon Episode 25
