“The man with the cursed ink moved his arm in the vision I saw. He’s going to survive. We need to let Malia know that the prophecy is changing for the worst. We need to escape from this place as soon as possible.”
Prof T lectures the Moonchasers on the deaths of their comrades, as well as senator Mallari who was ready and able to help them. He urges no one to step out of the headquarters since they’re not yet prepared to fight again.
Since Piolo isn’t known by their enemies, Prof T tasks him to track down Tristan. At home, Betty reflects on her decision to send her nephew to Manila when his father had died in order to distance him from the vampires who had ruined their lives.
She then begins wondering about the recent happenings.Miyo (Malia) tries dragging Tristan home, but is horrified upon noticing that he’s badly wounded. Tristan refuses to go to the hospital and having given into his injuries again, he asks Miyo to get him out of the place.
A moment later after Miyo has carried him away, Piolo shows up at the Toralba house to ask of him. Meanwhile, Miyo (Malia) sneaks Tristan into a section of the LLU base and Jake soon confronts her and expresses his disapproval.
Malia argues that the guy is injured and needs help and Jake reluctantly agrees to let him stay for a night. Betty questions Piolo about why he’s looking for Tristan and he gets all nervous and starts talking randomly and incessantly. Betty asks if he was the kid who had seen a vampire before but Piolo says it had probably been his imagination back then.
Back at the LLU base, Tristan begins grimacing in pain and Malia treats his wounds, wondering why he has so many. Later that night, she watches over him and wonders what had really happened to him. Jake spies. Madam Star stares up at the full moon and flashes back to 21 years ago when she had read the fortune of a faceless character.
“…the blood. The blood of the man with the cursed ink…” Presently, Madam Star looks forlorn. “Why me? Why was I given a horrid curse like this?”
Tristan suffers a sudden seizure and Malia desperately tries to calm him. She places her hand in his and gets thrown away by yet another spark. Tristan’s thrashings subside just then as Malia takes a moment to stare at her hand in disbelief. She then listens to his heartbeat to make sure that he’s still breathing. Meanwhile, Jethro suffers the same fate and has another vision as Supremo observes. The evil vampire lord glides over and grabs him with his forceful power.
“What vision do you see? Tell me the truth. Was there a change in the prophecy?!”
“Nothing about the prophecy has changed!” Jethro groans out. “It’s you and Malia under the light of the blood moon. And you will die!”
Supremo shoves Jethro away with his power, just as Malia takes care of Tristan.
“What is the connection between us? Why do we feel a spark when we touch each other? Who are you really?”
“I will never stop what I’m doing until I can change the prophecy,” Supremo declares.
“Does the prophecy have something to do with the group that is trying to fight us?” Diana asks.
Jethro and Veruska look on silently. Once the scum creatures disappear, Jethro reveals to Veruska that the prophecy is changing. “The man with the cursed ink moved his arm in the vision I saw.”
“What do you mean by that?” Veruska asks.
“He’s going to survive.”
“Oh, no. Supremo must not find out about this. If he knew, he’d be all the more encouraged to spread mayhem.”
“We need to let Malia know that the prophecy is changing for the worst,” Jethro says.
“That’s why we need to escape from this place as soon as possible.”
Nognog brings the prisoners their food and begins wrinkling his nose. Veruska mentions that she’s the one he smells because vampires have always disliked the blood of werewolves. Nognog is intrigued to learn that werewolves are real. At the LLU base, while Catleya spies on Jake, Malia wakes up to find Tristan missing. At the Toralbas, Betty makes Piolo have dinner with them and continues to drill him about Tristan.
While Piolo is still present at the dining table, Betty receives a phone call from her nephew and scolds him for making them worry by not getting in touch with them. Tristan apologizes and claims that he had left his phone somewhere. He then promises to return home by tomorrow night.Read Next Episode on The Blood Moon Episode 23
