Cardo Helps Alyana With Her Duties. Preparations Are Made For The President’s Marriage. Lily Turns Cedric. Hipolito Plots To Blackmail & Use Lily.
The episode begins with Lazaro staring vengefully at a kñifë and he swears to k!ll Lily with it. Captain Alyana and Cardo find some guys drinking by the side of the street, most of them shirtless, and they resolve to talk some sense into them and caution them not to break the law the next time around.
At the Palace, Oscar gladly asks Diana to coordinate with Lily on the wedding arrangements since the jezebel wants to be hands-on with it. Acting on Lily’s orders, her staff prepare some good food to feed Cedric as soon as he wakes up.
Back at the Palace, President Hidalgo has a meeting with his cabinet and they deliberate on the war against drugs and Hipolito. Oscar declares that they need to capture Renato before he becomes the most powerful drug lord in the country.
Captain Alyana continues with her rounds throughout the community with her husband’s constant assistance. Once Lily returns to her place, she goes to see Cedric and strives to convince him to accept her profitable business offer.
A moment later, she receives a phone call from Diana who asks for a meeting to talk about the plans for the wedding. Letlet is found wandering outside and Alyana and Cardo are concerned when she mentions that she’s hungry.
Krista arrives just then and Cardo notices the bruises on her face. When asked about it, she claims that it had been a freaking accident. Hipolito has a talk with Jacob about how Lily had put so much into her plan to fool everyone and marry the president. He and Jacob laugh it off.
Hipolito plans to take advantage of Lily’s union with the president before he finally gets rid of her; he would blackmail her with her dirty secrets and compel her to carry out his orders. While Captain Alyana and her companions continue with their rounds throughout the neighborhood, Lily gives Cedric the go-ahead to retrieve some bags of money from Lazaro’s side businesses which Hipolito doesn’t know of.
After Cedric leaves, Mei Lin offers to get rid of him for good once he returns with the money before he eventually turns on them. Lily objects to it, saying that Cedric is like a dog and needs to be tamed to become loyal.
A moment later, Lily receives a phone call from Juan who congratulates her on her wedding and asks for something to do because he’s bored spying on Cardo’s family. Lily urges Juan to relax and be more patient. She assures him that once she’s married, he would have so much to do that he might even beg for a break.
In the meantime, President Hidalgo calls Cardo on phone to invite him and his entire family to his upcoming wedding. Grandma Flora and everyone else is delighted to hear of the news. Lily receives an anonymous blackmail note which turns out to be from Hipolito. After she reads it, she wonders who among her connections could be behind it.
Ernesto soon shows up for a visit and tells her about a big drug shipment that would be coming in soon. President Hidalgo discusses security on his wedding day with General Dela Cruz and makes known his intention to include Cardo and Task Force Agila. Meanwhile, Lazaro goes into his armory and he retrieves a güñ and a bag of money.
