Rita Is Appalled To Learn Of What Peterson Has Been Up To. Tupe Strives To Help His People In Their Predicament. Peterson Plans To Use Type As A Sperm Donor.
Rita came back from her trip to Talisay and Peterson nagged her about deciding on the IVF. He also told her to close down the mine that had been poisoning the water. Rita said it was not that easy because there were people working there. The following day at work, Rita ran into Peterson’s friend.
He asked if they had found a sperm donor since Peterson had told him they were looking for one. He realized he had said too much when he saw her reaction since she did not know. Meanwhile, Peterson returned to Talisay since he had found the perfect candidate to be their sperm donor – Tupe.
He went there to see Tupe and learn more about him.When Peterson was at the community, he saw Tupe treat the patients who had been getting worse from the polluted water. He admired him more, seeing how dedicated he was to his patients.
Tupe received a message that one of their older residents was seriously ill.
He left his patients in the care of his nurse, Simon, and left. On the way, his arm started to hurt again and he had to stop to take his pain medication. He was dizzy when he arrived and the man had already died. Tupe felt guilty because he could have saved him if he had gotten there earlier.
Rita sent Raymond to bring more supplies to Talisay and Tupe was furious when he received them. He said that what they needed was a lasting solution so Rita needed to close down the mine. He got on his bike and left to see Rita. Peterson was there the entire time and found out more about Tupe from the residents. They talked highly of him because he always helped them.
When he went home, Rita confronted him about searching for a donor when she had not decided on the IVF. She was afraid that Peterson would not care about the child if he was not the father. She brought up the child she lost and Peterson said he was not to blame that her child died.Rita got mad and stormed out. She ran into Tupe and he saw her crying.
He asked her about the mining company and how people were already dying from the poisoning. Rita told him that she would speak to the owner when he returned from a trip abroad. Tupe then left to see Paulina, a woman he met at the bar and had been sleeping with. He talked to her about Rita.
Meanwhile, Rita went to see Michelle, a girl from Talisay who was also sick from the water poisoning. She ran into Tupe when he too went to see her at the hospital.
