Peterson Pressures Rita To Undergo IVF. Tension Builds Up As Tupe Finally Meets Rita Again. Rita Visits Tupe’s Community To Address The Water Contamination.
Rita’s friends, Raymond and Maggie, asked her if she was going to tell Peterson about her relationship with Tupe. Rita said there was no need because Peterson would only get jealous for no reason. Peterson asked one of his employees if he ever considered becoming a donor for a couple who could not have kids.
The guy was puzzled by the question and went to talk to his colleagues about it. Rita’s brother Khyle overheard them (he works there since Peterson gave him a job) and fought with the guy. Peterson fired the employee and had him beaten up for talking.
He then promoted Khyle to thank him for what he had done. Rita met with Tupe at her office and they discussed the water problem at Talisay. Things were tense between them but they only talked about the water issue.They agreed to have Rita visit the community so that she could see the situation for herself.
Before Tupe left, he left a video of the water contamination that he had recorded for Rita, which she watched very intently later. Peterson still insisted on having the IVF treatment and he pressured Rita to make a decision about it. He was supposed to visit Talisay with Rita but cancelled because he was busy.
Meanwhile, Rita sent Raymond and Maggie (they now work for her) to visit the community and bring medical supplies to them. Tupe was irritable all through because he thought Rita would not come. Later, Rita arrived and everyone was glad to see her. They welcomed her happily and Rita helped take care of the patients at Tupe’s clinic.
Rita asked to see the water source and Tupe took her on a tour since he was the one who could explain what was happening. When they were out, one of the residents rushed to tell them that a woman was in labor. Rita wanted to bring her to the clinic but Tupe said there was no time. He harshly retorted that she wouldn’t mind if the child was hers.
Rita was hurt by what he said and walked away. Tupe returned to the clinic alone and everyone was worried because Rita had not gone back. It started to rain heavily so they went out to look for her. Tupe found her soaked in the forest and she hugged him when she saw him.
She apologized for leaving and Tupe retorted that she was good at leaving. He then escorted her back. Rita told Raymond and Maggie what happened and they understood why she went missing.
