“We have to make certain sacrifices for the greater good. It’s hard. It’s painful. But there are some battles that we have to concede in order to win a far greater war. We have to do that for the salvation of everyone.”
The episode begins with Malia/Miyo bringing the guards at the SMV Corporation some of her corn. She then asks to be given the go-ahead to sell her food inside during lunch time, promising to always treat them and they easily give in.
Meanwhile, Leo, AD, Piolo and the other Moonchasers undergo intense training with the Moonchasers from the other units. Malia sells her food inside SMV Corporation, all the while fishing for information about the boss from the workers.
She’s surprised to learn that their boss is actually a woman by name Susana. She asks about the tall fair-skinned man she always sees coming out of the building and a particular employee begins lusting after him. Acting on Supremo’s orders, Nognog is taken on a tour of SMV by another vampire.
”Supremo is going to run for president next year.”
Malia overhears with her super-hearing ability. She takes her time to turn around and so doesn’t see Nognog. She breaks away from the workers and proceeds to take an elevator to go in search. Malia soon finds herself at the Heat Bar where she’s caught by a guard who practically kicks her out.
At the Moonchasers training camp, Prof T takes the recruits through another batch of intense training, just as Tristan and his family wait in line for grandpa Gabriel to have his operation. At the SMV Corporation, Malia intercepts an elevator door from closing and looks up to see Supremo inside.
Still going with her Miyo persona and getup, she painstakingly walks into the elevator. Once the door closes, Supremo asks who she is and Malia says she’s just a food vendor making an honest living. He then asks why she had been at the bar and she claims that she had been looking for the exit.
“I’m glad you found what you were looking for,” so says the evil vampire lord. “But next time around, don’t wander into places you’re not familiar with.”
Malia stares at Supremo with indifference, but averts her gaze when he turns in her direction.
“You might come into harm.”
The elevator dings and Supremo stalks off once the door slides open. Malia discreetly tails him and spies as he goes around casually having small talks with some workers. A moment later, Malia asks a guard about Supremo and he reveals that he’s the boss of the bar. He then goes ahead to paint him as a good and kindhearted person, much to Malia’s disbelief.
Later that night, the Moonchasers undergo another unusual training with some lighted dynamites, with the majority of them reflecting on their initial individual encounters with vampires. Grandpa Gabriel is brought out to the rest of the Toralba family after his surgery, and they’re all filled with joy upon learning that the operation had gone well.
Tristan thanks the doctor, telling her that they would be back after a while to have the other eye operated on. Gabriel expresses his appreciation to his grandson. Soon enough, Tristan brings his family back home and before setting off to work, he asks the guys Berto had dealt with before to watch over his family in his absence.
They’re reluctant to but eventually give in when Tristan promises to treat them to some snacks. Baristo brings Catleya, Erin, Gael and Jake to a refuse dump which had been handpicked by their werewolf allies to hide their scent from the vampires.
Catleya reminds Baristo to inform Malia about their new hideout since she has no idea of the place. Baristo then urges Erin to set up his Luna headquarters there. He then proceeds to take them to a room with internet connections and phone lines they can use to communicate with their colleagues in the field.
Erin agrees to take the offer as long as it’s going to help Malia.Ningning arrives at Youtopia for her interview, just as Malia, all dressed up, goes to SMV Corporation to apply for a job. She soon realizes that everyone working there is a vampire. A moment later, she’s interviewed by Diana at the Heat Bar.
In the meantime, Ningning is briefed about what Youtopia stands for and she’s taken by surprise when she’s told that the owner of Youtopia wants her to be the new face of the company. Ningning laments over the last commitment that had hurt her so much. “Let me help you.” Ningning turned around and came face-to-face with Supremo.
