Jiayu sincerely apologized to Tianming because she knew that the rumors had affected him. Tianming couldn’t care less about what people say as he deems the rumors as nonsense. However, Jiayu told him that she would like to deal with everything on her own. For obvious reasons, she suddenly stopped working at the supermarket.
Jiaxing got himself drunk and when he got home, he blabbered nonstop and Jiayu came to learn of how he had been duped. Xinyan urged Haoze to report Jiayu to the police as soon as possible in order to end the indefinite divorce proceedings. She did not want her to always be among them.
Guodong persuaded Tianming to go abroad to avoid further attention. Tianming was reluctant to leave so Guodong urged him to stay away from Jiayu for a period of time because the matter had caused serious damage to the group company.
Jiayu reached out to a former friend called Minzhi to borrow some money. Minzhi turned her down since she felt that she had no financial means to repay her. Jiayu then went in search of another job. When she returned home, she found Tianming waiting for her downstairs.
Remembering Xinyan’s words, Jiayu turned and left. After arriving home, Jiayu told her mother and brother that she had found a job again, and that they have to move out.Tianming had to wait downstairs all night to see Jiayu. He questioned her about how she had been avoiding him.
Jiayu couldn’t bear to ruin Tianming ’s future again and could only tell him that they can’t meet again. Seeing Jiayu’s determination, Tianming told her that he would fly to the United States the day after tomorrow. On that day, Tianming sent her a text message asking her to go to the airport to see him for the last time.
Unfortunately, police came to arrest Jiayu at that moment in time because Haoze had reported her for theft. After waiting for so long, Tianming was about to board the plane when he received a call from lawyer Cheng Yu.Jiayu was detained at the police station and she was angry and helpless with her situation.
