Tupe Struggles To Deal With His Misfortune. Rita Moves On With Her Life & Gets Married. Tupe Fulfills His Dream Of Becoming A Doctor.
Tupe was rushed to the hospital and treated for the beating he sustained at the hands of the goons. In an unfortunate turn of events, it is revealed that Miguel had succumbed to the büllet wound and died. When Tupe recovered, he decided to move abroad with his mother Helen and little sister Hannah, following his father’s dëäth.
Unfortunately, tragedy stroke a second time in a row; Helen was overwhelmed with the family’s condition and unable to handle the untimely dëäth of her husband, she ended up overdosing on some pills. Tupe was left by himself to take care of his sister.Rita continued with her nursing course. Peterson met her at a club and took interest in her.
He tried to get her to talk to him but Rita resolved to ignore him and didn’t give him any attention. Nevertheless, that didn’t stop him from constantly visiting her at her school. On one occasion, Peterson was there just in time to help Rita when she suddenly fainted. He took her to the hospital and they found out that Rita was pregnant.
Peterson offered to help her and even bought the things she needed for her baby. He soon began to have a fallout with his mother Olivia because of his persistence to pursue Rita;Olivia wanted much more for her son. Sadly, Rita suffered a miscarriage and ended up losing the baby.
She had heard that Tupe was doing well in the states and Geraldine had gone there to be with him. She felt alone after losing the child and Peterson consoled her and promised to be there for her. Years later, Peterson and Rita got married. Olivia had still not warmed up to Rita who was now her daughter-in-law.
It didn’t take long for Peterson to begin running for office as a congressman and Rita, who was now a nurse, helped him a great deal with his campaign. Peterson was very grateful for his wife’s undying support and was eager to have a baby to complete his family.
In regards to the election, he was doing well in the polls and was sure to win. He also got along with Rita’s family after he gave her brother a job and a car. Rita wasn’t happy with her husband handing out things to her family but Peterson didn’t really mind.
Meanwhile, Tupe finished medical school and he was finally able to fulfill his dream of becoming a doctor. He ran a hospital at his home province to help out the people in his community.
