Tupe Makes Deliberate Efforts To Make Amends & Win Rita Over After Unintentionally Ruining Her Dreams.
Rita gets pretty excited when Raymund delivers a partial payment to her and she looks forward to get the rest of the money once she’s done with the remaining DVDs tomorrow. In the meantime, Tupe bumps into some of the stuff of his roommate and he resolves to tidy up the place.
Rita soon returns home and she lashes out at Tupe when she finds out that he had thrown out her DVDs which had then been picked up by the garbage collector. Distressed, Rita chases after the garbage truck and makes a futile attempt to retrieve her DVDs.
Tupe goes after her and tries to calm her down, all the while trivializing the matter. Rita then berates him some more and accuses him of ruining her life, recounting how her line of work is what she and her family depend on. Tupe looks somewhat astonished. Later that night, Rita receives a phone call from her mother who tells her about the birth of her nephew.
Rita agrees to send over the last of her money for the upkeep of her brother’s baby and her mother treats her awfully when she hints that she isn’t okay. The next morning, Tupe comes to learn of Rita’s situation from Raymund and Maggie and he decides to pawn off his beloved motorbike to get the money she needs to sign up for her review.
Tupe later apologizes and hands over the money to Rita. When he asks how he had wronged her all those years ago, Rita recounts how her life had been ruined after he had been made the valedictorian of their class because of a donation from his corrupt father.
At the university, Tupe tells a doctor about his plan to find a job after the semester is over because his father had stopped supporting him – he would however return to school to complete his program in order to fulfil his dream of becoming a doctor. Raymund takes Rita to a bar and agrees to treat her to some drinks. Rita is taken by surprise when she sees Tupe there working as a bartender.
The next day at the university, Rita mistakes the new owner of the motorbike for Tupe and she apologizes profusely after knocking him on the head. Upon arriving home, she asks the landlady about the bike and she’s surprised to learn that Tupe had quit school. At the workplace, Tupe tries to settle an issue between Raymund and Emman his boyfriend.
He beats up Emman when he picks a fight with him. Raymund calls Rita to notify her that Tupe knows the truth. In no time, Tupe arrives home with some ointment to apply on the bruises on his body and Rita resolves to do that for him. She confesses that she’s not really Raymund’s girlfriend but is being paid to pretend.
Rita thanks Tupe when he doesn’t judge her on that account.Tupe and Rita have trouble sleeping that night and they resolve to do some catching up and recount their school days. Tupe makes it a point to tease Rita with his antics, all the while trying in vain to convince her to be his prom date.
Things tend to get a little more dramatic as they stare at each other. The next morning at the university, Rita apologizes again to the guy she had hit the other time, only to find out that Tupe had pawned off Brittany his motorbike to him for ten thousand bucks which he needed for an emergency.
Rita feels bad on that account. Sometime later, she volunteers for a medical mission in which Geraldine, an ex of Tupe also takes part. Rita tends to get amused and annoyed with Geraldine’s unending clinginess to Tupe as the outreach goes on.
At some point, Geraldine complains of being dizzy and Rita and Tupe go back to base to retrieve some medicine and other supplies. Rita takes the opportunity to make mockery of Geraldine’s character, amusing Tupe.
