“You and I are not finished yet, Supremo. I’ll find a way to get close to you without you ever realizing that I’m Malia. Just when you least expect it, I’ll make you pay for all the lives you mercilessly took from us.”
Diana and the other vampires fail to find Malia. Once they disappear, Malia descends the tree and reflects on the incident at the LLU camp, vowing to fulfil her responsibility to restore the order and freedom of humans, vampires and werewolves alike.
Meanwhile, Tristan tries to reason with his aunt Summer to help him out with his grandpa’s surgery but she bïtçhës on and on. Later, his aunt Spring offers him some money, urging him to keep it a secret from Summer. Tristan thanks her and promises to pay her back.
Tristan reflects on his encounter with the vampire who had ran into the jeepney. Lying on his bed, he begins hearing someone calling his name which seems to frighten him. He however breathes a sigh of relief when he realizes that it’s Piolo.
A moment later, the Moonchasers discuss the strange death of Lemuel Ruiz and Tristan reveals that he had been at the concert. They ask whether a vampire had k!lled him and Tristan says he isn’t sure since a lot of people were pretending to be vampires.
“This is our first mission,” Andrei states. “To learn about the truth behind the strange death of Lemuel Ruiz.”
“I’m game,” Piolo says. “So, what’s our plan?”
Droplets of blood fall on Malia’s face, waking her up. Once she opens her eyes, she’s horrified to see what it is. Even more so when she looks up to see a vampire descending and charging at her. Malia desperately tries to ward off the undead creature, and in her struggle, she actually wakes up for real this time and realizes that she had just been having a dream.
She rises to her feet and carries on as her father’s last words echo in her head.Tristan is having a video call with his family from the province when Piolo suddenly shows up and hands him a shirt branded with a photo of Lemuel Ruiz.
Meanwhile, Supremo’s minions return empty handed and he asks if any of them knows what Malia looks like. The evil lord vampire vents out his anger when his lackeys give him a negative response. One of the undead tells their lord that he was the only one who had gotten a close look at the new Chosen One.
Supremo glides over and grabs him by the throat. “Do you think I’d ask what she looks like if I had seen her? Not a single one of you saw Malia?!”
“Forgive me,” Diana says. “But I wasn’t able to see her face.”
Supremo unleashes his power again, sending a random vampire flying. “Inform everyone searching through those woods – to capture and k!ll every woman they find!”
The Moonchasers blend into the mourners of Lemuel Ruiz and begin gathering intel on how he had been like. Piolo makes a scene to garner attention as he openly laments over Lemuel’s untimely demise while Tristan and the others learn what they can. Bottom line – Lemuel couldn’t have died of a drug overdose since he had been a drinker and not a drug user. Later, they discuss the matter and begin thinking of a way to get some more info in order to verify the cause of death.
Malia encounters a young girl singing and playing guitar in the woods. Meanwhile, Veruska makes an attempt and fails to escape Supremo’s lair and the evil vampire lord taunts her. He then urges her to join forces with him so they’d rule the world together. Back in the woods, the vampires find the musician and as they charge at her, Malia comes to her rescue, vanquishing four of the undead with a single slash of her weapon.
More vampires approach and Malia escapes with the young woman.Veruska gets in Supremo’s face and taunts him with his questionable offer after what he had done to her husband and her kind. Supremo grabs her by the throat and threatens to wipe out the rest of her fellow werewolves, including her beloved son.
He makes it crystal clear that he can do whatever he wants and Veruska yields. “Malia does not possess special powers,” Veruska admits, much to Sandrino’s surprise. “Please don’t hurt my son. Malia does not have any kind of power. Have mercy. Stop your persecution of us. Malia did not inherit the powers of Mateo and Lia.”
