Mengchen/Jiayu Decides To Leave & Disappear. Tianming Struggles To Find Her. Yanan Helps Out Jiaxing. Xinyan Picks Up Her “Parents”.
Mengchen took offense when Guodong’s lackey offered her some money to leave Tianming for good and disappear. She lashed out at him and strongly refused to accept the money; she would not embarrass Tianming but would leave him on her own initiative.
Jiaxing managed to get some work to earn some money and after that, he quickly went to see his mother at the hospital. Fenfang woke up and mistook him for Li Zhengdao. Jiaxing told Yanan about Haoze’s divorce from his sister.
He lamented and didn’t know what to do since his mother’s surgical and medical expenses are so expensive. Yanan comforted Jiaxing and promised to help him. Mengchen packed up and left and took away the card issued by Tianming.
When Dajiu received Xinyan’s “parents”, he passed by Jiayu/Mengchen without noticing her. Mengchen saw the tattoo on Dajiu’s arm and had some memory flashes which caused her to have a headache. Tianming woke up and was happy for Mengchen to have a new house and he happily brewed coffee for her. When he found out that Mengchen was gone, he was very anxious.
Tianming desperately went in search for Mengchen but couldn’t find her and that made him very sad. When Yanan saw his depressed face, she realized that she had done something wrong. Dajiu brought his “parents” to see Xinyan. Xinyan told them that her biological parents had died and her fiance didn’t know.
She wanted to ask them to pretend to be her parents. Xinyan asked Dajiu to pretend to be her brother, but also to write down what happened when she was a child. Xinyan had dinner with the family of He and said that when her parents came back on the weekend, Haoze would arrange a meeting ceremony.

Tianming learned that Yanan told his father about his relationship with Mengchen and he warned her that he wouldn’t forgive her if something bad happened to Mengchen. A moment later, Tianming tried to call his father on phone but he ignored his call. He then proceeded to resume his search for Mengchen.
Meanwhile, Mengchen sat by the river and looked at some photos of herself and Tianming, all the while reminiscing about the time they spent together. Before going to the meeting, Xinyan told Zhenguo that she didn’t tell her “parents” about how she had “donated” her liver to him.Haoze urged his father not to tell Xinyan’s parents about Xinyan’s liver transplant and he agreed.
Jiaxing went through the discharge procedures for his mother. He worried about having no money to pay the bills. Yanan came to the hospital to see Shen Fenfang. Jiaxing did not tell her about the lack of money but turned to Xu Minze. When Xu Min did not give him, he called Haoze. Hearing the voice of Xinyan, he hung up the phone and berated Haoze.
Yanan decided to pay the hospital bills so Fenfang can be discharged. Jiaxing thanked her for her help and promised to find a job to pay her back. Meanwhile, Xinyan picked up her “parents” at the airport and she took advantage of Haoze’s inattention to let her “parents” perform well.
