Shen Fenfang Is Hospitalized. Xinyan Sees Mengchen/Jiayu. Jiaxing Begs Haoze For Money. Yanan Exposes Tianming’s Relationship With Mengchen.
The episode begins with Zhou Xinyan staring in shock at Shen Fenfang’s motionless body after pushing her down the stairs. Xinyan recovers and quickly flees the scene. Afraid that Fenfang could die, she desperately and anonymously calls the emergency center of a particular hospital to come and rescue her.
In no time, the ambulance arrives and the scene begins to crowd with neighbors and onlookers as Fenfang is taken into the vehicle by paramedics. Xinyan lurks nearby and in her attempt to follow the ambulance, she has a glimpse of Li Jiayu in Tianming’s car on the road.
Xinyan is stopped by the traffic police as she tried to keep up with them. Li Jiaxing found the Tianming Coffee shop and accused Zheng Yanan of ruining his face. Yanan argues that he made her lose money. As Jiaxing tried to beat Yanan beat him, she frightened him on the grounds that Jiaxing obstructed business.
At this time, Jiaxing received a phone call and learned about how his mother had been rushed to the hospital. Yanan then decides to accompany him to the hospital. At the hospital, Mengchen has a glimpse of her mother as she’s being wheeled into the emergency room.
She takes a moment to stop and stare before Tianming eventually pulls her along. Upon arriving home, Lin Tianming found that Mengchen’s bed board was too hard, so he insists for her to sleep in the master bedroom while he takes the sofa.
In the meantime, Xinyan lost Fenfang and couldn’t find Jiayu. She goes back to Fenfang’s house to ask of her and feigns ignorance as the landlady recounts how Fenfang had fallen down the stairs and rushed to the hospital.
For some reason, Xinyan decides to give the landlady some money to cover the rent money Fenfang owes. Meanwhile, Jiaxing was scared to be in the hospital alone so Yanan stayed with him for a while.
After Fenfang’s operation goes on smoothly, Yanan convinces Jiaxing to go home. Xinyan drank alone and recalls the incident that had occured earlier. Jiayu woke up and when she found Tianming asleep, she secretly takes a picture of him.
A moment later, Tianming rolled off the sofa and saw Mengchen cooking.He sneaked up on her and deliberately scared her out of her wits. He then helped her to cook. Later, Tianming went to work and let Mengchen rest at home.
The hospital urged Jiaxing to make payment for his mother’s bills. Since Jiaxing had no money, he asked Yanan to take care of his mother and planned to go to He Haoze for money.
In no time, Jiaxing hurried to the company and explained to Haoze the reason why he needed to borrow money from him. Haoze refused to give him anything. When Jiaxing knelt down and begged him for money, Haoze asked Secretary Jin to drive him away.
Xinyan dressed up and went to the hospital to ask about Shen Fenfang’s condition. After learning that Fenfang would lose her memory, she sneaked into her room and called her. Yanan went to the water room to get the kettle lid and Xinyan took the opportunity to leave.
Yanan went to Tianming’s house and she wasn’t the least bit happy when she found Mengchen there. She went to see Lin Guodong to tell him about the “strange, amnesiac woman” his son has been dating. Guodong was very angry when he heard that Tianming had closed the coffee shop for Mengchen.
Jiaxing could not afford the medical expenses and so decided to transfer his mother to a ward with six people. Gu Min hoped that Xinyan’s parents would attend his upcoming birthday party. Xinyan lied that her parents opened a five-star hotel in the Philippines.
When Gu Min asked for details, Xinyan was so scared that she hid in the bathroom. When Xinyan returned to her seat, she told Gu Min that her parents would come next week and Gu Min was very happy after hearing it.
While Jiaxing goes to find a job to earn some money, Tianming meets Mengchen’s absence at home and he calls her on the phone and learns that she was at the coffee shop.
At the shop, Mengchen receives a visit from a lackey of Guodong who tries to convince her to disappear from Tianming’s life. Mengchen (Jiayu) was surprised to learn that Lin Tianming was the son of Lin Guodong, the chairman of Maru Group.
