Xinyan Desperately Tries To Protect Her Dirty Past & Cover Her Tracks. Tianming’s Father Makes Mongchun (Jiayu) An Offer. Jiayu Recovers Her Memory & Leaves Everyone Shocked With Her Return.
Jiayu’s mother (Shen Fenfang) storms P & K Group to confront Haoze over his decision to divorce her daughter. Tianming takes Mongchun (Jiayu) to the hospital to undergo hypnotherapy in hopes of regaining her memories. The procedure triggers flashes of disturbing memories and terrified by what they could all mean, Jiayu resolves to forget and let go of the past.
During his search for his target, the obnoxious Dajiu has another close encounter with Jiayu. He soon finds his way to the coffee shop where he collides with Yanan. Shen Fenfang decides to go and see Haoze’s parents to clear things up.
Upon arriving at the house, she’s taken by surprise to discover her daughter’s belongings abandoned on the street and the fact that Xinyan had played a major part in destroying her marriage. Xinyan engages in an altercation with Fenfang and the older woman threatens to expose her dirty, illicit past. When Jiayu is taken up with a fever, Tianming takes her to the hospital.
Worked up over Fenfang’s threats, Xinyan pays her a visit at home and strives to talk her out of her intention to expose her. When persuasion fails, Xinyan resorts to drastic measure that leaves Fenfang in critical condition, inadvertently having a glimpse of Jiayu somewhere in town.
After Jiayu catches sight of her mother, Tianming takes her to live with him at his place. Jiaxing comes to learn of what had befallen his mother and he desperately reaches out to Haoze for financial assistance, only to be treated with contempt and kicked out of the company.
Yanan exposes Tianming’s unusual relationship with Mongchun to his father and Guodong takes action.
Jiaxing resolves to find some part-time jobs to take care of his mother’s hospital bills. Acting on the orders of Guodong, Secretary Jin offers Mongchun a huge sum of money to disappear.
After rejecting the offer, Mongchun decides to pack up her stuff and leave all the same, inadvertently coming across Dajiu on her way. Shen Fenfang finally regains consciousness. Tianming tends to get distressed when he gets wind of Mongchun’s disappearance.
He becomes even more miserable when his search for her proves futile. In an attempt to cement her relationship with Haoze, Xinyan conspires with Dajiu to pass off some strangers as her parents and Dajiu as her brother. Yanan comes through for Jiaxing and helps in having his mother discharged from the hospital.
Xinyan takes her fake family for the dinner date with Haoze’s family and Weiwei doesn’t make things easy for her.Tianming persists in his search for Mongchun (Jiayu) and he finally finds her and manages to convince her to return home with him.
After bearing out his heart to her, Tianming reaches out to his father to negotiate an agreement. Guodong takes his son up on his offer, though with ulterior motives. Yanan’s friendship with Tianming begins to suffer on account of her betrayal.
Tianming starts work at the office and Xinyan is taken by surprise when he’s not enticed by her beauty like other men. Yanan helps Jiaxing to get a fulltime job at a logistics company. A series of flashbacks reveal the bad blood and history between Tianming and Dajiu.
Dajiu finally finds Jiayu and soon notifies Xinyan. As fate will have it, Jiayu has flashes of more memories that leads to a whole lot of drama when she crashes Haoze’s father’s birthday celebration. After escaping from Dajiu, Jiayu finally finds her way home.
