Yanan Continues Her Ridiculous Rivalry. Tianming Goes On A Date With Jiayu. Xinyan Successfully Manipulates Haoze’s Father Into Accepting Her.
Tianming dramatically tells Jiayu (Mongchun) about how he wants to spend his birthday with her. He gets casual with her and disregards her concerns for her memory loss, ultimately sharing a ki$$ with her. The next morning, Yanan deliberately wears a provocative dress to entice her boss.
At the coffee shop, Tianming disregards all her lame advances and Yanan gets upset when she realizes that he has his eyes glued on Jiayu as she works. Yanan receives a phone call about her high school reunion party and she puts on another pathetic show to get Tianming’s attention. When that doesn’t work, she decides to pick on Jiayu and the boss comes to her defense.
While Yanan has an unfriendly encounter with Jiaxing at the reunion party, the landlady comes to collect her rent and Jiayu/Jiaxing’s mother is shocked when she finds all the money she had kept missing – money Jiaxing had stolen.The landlady demands for the payment in two days’ time and in no time, the distressed woman goes to confront her bratty son, asking if he was the one who had taken the money.
Jiaxing treats his mother terribly and Yanan comes upon the scene and scolds him. Haoze begins to get worked up when he fails to reach Xinyan on phone. A moment later, the woman in question shows up at his office and Haoze is delighted when he learns of how she had saved his company by fixing its financial situation.
Tianming gets pretty romantic with Mongchun (Jiayu) and takes her on a date around town. At some point, Tianming leaves her alone to go and buy some ice cream and when she sees a little girl crying nearby, she begins to approach her.
Just then, the mother shows up to take her child away and Jiayu stares at her bare feet and begins to wonder what’s wrong with her. Tianming comes over with the ice cream he had bought and as he asks if she’s okay, Mongchun passes out on the spot.
Xinyan brings Weiwei home after school and in the presence of Haoze’s parents, she saves the little girl from getting hit by a car on the road, and then puts on a show of being wounded. When Haoze learns of everything that had happened, he decides to go and see his father and tell him of how Xinyan had singlehandedly solved all of the company’s problems with her personal connections.
Haoze then blabbers about how Xinyan had supposedly saved him (Mr. Hao) with her own liver and his granddaughter Weiwei as well. He then threatens to resign from P & K Group if he continues to favor Jiayu over Xinyan. Later that night, Mr. Hao gives Haoze the go-ahead to file for divorce from Jiayu and the miserable guy soon informs Xinyan of the good news.
Haoze doesn’t waste time to see his lawyer the next morning to begin the divorce process.At the coffee shop, Yanan lashes out at Mongchun when she points out a mistake she had made with a customer’s order.
Tianming decides to settle the issue by checking things out. He realizes that Yanan had really made a mistake but then when he makes mention of it, the spoilt brat throws a fit and storms out. In the meantime, Mr. Hao appreciates Xinyan for everything she’s done for his family and the company.
He then gives his consent to her marriage with Haoze, stating that she would have to live in the guest room for now. Being the witch that she is, Xinyan later sneaks into Haoze’s bedroom and she orders Miss Wong the housekeeper to get rid of all the things that belong to Jiayu. Mrs. Hao comes upon the scene and supports her.
The next morning, Jiayu’s mother is devastated when she receives a divorce petition on behalf of her daughter. Meanwhile, Weiwei comes crying down the stairs because all of her mother’s photos have all disappeared. Mr. Hao is exasperated when he learns that Xinyan had ordered the housekeeper to throw away all the belongings of Jiayu.
