“That’s how cunning Supremo is. He’s not relying only on numbers but also influence. This is part of his plan to dominate the country. So if the prophecy is indeed real, we need Malia now more than ever.”
Supremo gives an ultimatum to his opposers to surrender and join forces with him lest they suffer the same fate as that of Mateo, Lia and the supposedly perished Malia. The traitorous Veruska walks out of the lair of the rogue vampires and runs into Borris.
Deducing that he’s one of them, she asks about her husband and son and the vampire says they’re both safe on account of what she and Supremo had agreed on. He then asks her to follow him so he could take her to them. Frederick charges his men to fight for Mateo and Lia’s honor by waging war against Supremo.
The LLU members are determined to avenge their former chiefs, snarling and baring their fangs, eyes glowing. Meanwhile, Borris turns on Veruska and pounces on her. Taken by surprise, Veruska fights back after the surprise wears off and effortlessly vanquishes the rogue vampire. She then calls her husband to inform him of Supremo’s hideout.
The LLU members engage the rogue vampires in a bloody battle and vanquish them in craze to get into the cave. Frederick, Gael and Miguel storm the cave to face Supremo. Hiding somewhere in the shadows, Supremo wards them off with his special abilities, causing explosions that drive the LLU core members to retreat. Frederick tries going back in but Gael and Miguel hold him back.
“We’ll die here if we don’t leave,” Gael states. “We need you, our leader. There are battles we need to lose to regain our strength.”
The Lord Sentinel gives in and the trio escape the cave. The LLU is infiltrated by rogue vampires destroying everything and everyone in their way. While some members flee with the sole purpose of surrendering to Supremo’s demands, Veruska arrives just in time to save her son from a random undead creature. “This day is going to mark the beginning of my reign,” Supremo remarks back in his hideout.
Frederick returns with Gael and Miguel to witness what’s befallen the organization. He apologizes for having failed them, then goes ahead to give them the freedom to decide for themselves.
Just then, Baristo shows up, carrying Malia in his arms and the LLU members begin hailing the survival of the New Chosen One. Tonio is laid to rest and Tristan grieves inconsolably. After the funeral, his aunts from out of town offer to take him with them with promises of giving him a better future. Betty and the rest of the family give in.
While the LLU members pack up their stuff to leave for their camp, Tristan, now at his new home, vows to hunt down the vampire who k!lled his father. Meanwhile, Malia hopes she manifests her powers as the New Chosen One. Fourteen years later, we get to see Malia all grown up and skillfully catching a nest of falling eggs in midair.
At the LLU camp, new supplies arrive. Malia jumps into a truck and waves at Jake, Frederick and Veruska’s son. Meanwhile, Fredrick discusses with his wife and another LLU member how the vampires have adapted into society, turning people in high places and others from influential families.
“That’s how cunning supremo is. He’s not relying only on numbers but also influence. This is part of his plan to dominate the country. So if the prophecy is indeed real, we need Malia now more than ever.”
Veruska looks on with displeasure. Anyway, Malia helps carry the cartons out of the truck, occasionally pulling pranks on her surrogate father, Baristo. The LLU members soon begin expressing their hope of Malia’s powers manifesting on her birthday tomorrow so they could get back their freedom.
In town, Tristan, a jeepney driver, entertains his passengers as he drives them to their locations. Suddenly, a scumbag robs the passengers and runs off and Tristan pulls over and chases after him. Eventually, he catches up with the thief, only to run into his gang.
“You guys look quite strong,” Tristan mentions as he stares at them warily.
“Of course. We all work out. You’re a dead man.” One of the goons get in Tristan’s face, flexing and showing off his non-existent muscles. Suddenly, Tristan kicks the living hell out of him. A comical fistfight ensues and after a while of getting beaten up, the goons grab wëäpons and Tristan dips his handkerchief into some water and occasionally ‘blinds’ them with it. When he’s disarmed, he grabs a broom and uses it to beat the scumbags into submission.
