Xinyan Plots To Eliminate Jiayu In Order To Have Haoze For Herself. Jiayu Survives Her Ordeal & Is Saved By Tianming. Haoze Conspires With Xinyan To Cover Up Everything.
Jiayu explains her terrifying situation to her miserable husband and he decides to drop everything to go and see her at the hospital. Once Haoze shows up, she clutches onto him and blabbers nonstop about how scared she was.
The nurse contradicts her statements and states that whatever might have happened was probably a side effect of the surgery and the painkillers she had been given. Jiayu insists that she had been ättaçked and her husband strives to calm her down. On his way out of the hospital, Haoze calls Xinyan to ask her about the matter and she admits that she had gone to the hospital last night.
When Haoze asks if she was the one who had left the bruises on Jiayu, she plays dumb, gets upset and hangs up. Jiayu’s mother meets up with Mrs. Hao who rants nonstop and criticizes Jiayu for not bothering to go and see her father-in-law who had just had a surgery.
Haoze receives a surprise visit from Xinyan at his workplace and they talk about their plans and agree to hold off on the divorce until Jiayu recovers. Haoze soon receives a phone call from his wife’s mother and when she asks of her daughter, he makes her believe that she had gone to the Philippines in search of her father.
A moment later, Jiayu’s mother is sitting outside the company when she notices Haoze leaving with another woman (Xinyan) in his car. While Jiayu recovers at the hospital, Haoze goes on a date with Xinyan. Chairman Lin Guodong decides to take action since his son still refuses to obey him. He sends some of his men to go and seize Tianming’s beloved motorbike.
In the meantime, Xinyan urges Haoze to divorce Jiayu quickly so he can marry her, and Haoze tells her that they have to wait for a few more days.
Tianming is shocked all the more when he finds out that his father had sold his apartment; he has only one month to pack out but would have everything back if he goes to see him tomorrow.
Without wasting time, Tianming packs his stuff and gets into his car to leave the place. Jiayu decides to leave the hospital to go home to her daughter, only to pass out at the parking lot. Xinyan finds her and she directs her friend Dajiu to carry her into her own car.
Jiayu regains consciousness at some point and after she escapes from the car, she’s forced off the cliff by Xinyan. After Jiayu falls, Dajiu sends her car off the cliff as well and Xinyan flees with him as it blows up. Haoze is in bed with his daughter when he receives a distressed phone call from Xinyan and he quickly goes to get his car.
Meanwhile, Jiayu picks herself up from the floor in the outpouring rain and she manages to get back onto the road. Jiayu comes across Tianming and she falls in front of his car and pleads for him to save her. Tianming then helps her into his car.
The next morning, Xinyan and Dajiu meet up with Haoze to tell him about what had happened. To cover their tracks, they come up with a cover story; they would make everyone believe that Jiayu had stolen the fortune of the Haoze family and fled.
Meanwhile, Tianming takes the unconscious Jiayu to the hospital for treatment. After the police find Jiayu’s car totaled, Haoze begins to worry that she might still be alive. He soon meets up with her mother to tell her of how his wife (Jiayu) had ran away after robbing his family.
He then urges her to tell him immediately if her daughter contacts her so he can “help” her. Haoze then takes his leave, leaving Jiayu’s mother in a daze and shocked to the core so much that she comes close to getting hit as she crosses the street.
