Jacob Initiates His Rescue Plan; Cardo & Task Force Agila Fight Back. Lily Strives To Win Over The President With Her Fake Illness. Skull Targets Romero In An Attempt To Get To Cardo.
Jacob shadows the convoy of Task Force Agila and the CIDG as they transport Chloe, hell-bent on rescuing his girlfriend at all cost. Councilor Gina and Captain Bart have an audience with their minions and lackeys, blabbering nonstop about their scheme to ruin the reputation of Grandma Flora.
In the meantime, Flora receives undying support from an NGO on account of her goodwill and record. At the media house, Teddy has a discussion with a coworker about how the public have been comparing Lily to the late Marissa. He actually defends the jezebel because of the assistance she had rendered Cardo and Task Force Agila before.
Speaking of, Lily decides not to go against Lazaro for now so he doesn’t ruin her plans now that they’re starting to fall into place. In the meantime, Cedric urges his boss to let Lily go so she doesn’t cause trouble for them. Lazaro gets upset and demands that he should focus on finding Skull. He makes a solemn vow not to let Lily go after everything he’s done for her.
The next morning, Lily actually apologizes to Lazaro for their recent falling-out and makes peace with him. In spite of the dead end she had reached, Diana remains determined to continue her investigation as she’s inclined to believe that Lily is connected to Lucas Cabrera. Jacob begins to put plans in place for his rescue mission.
While Cedric reports back his fruitless search to his boss, Skull pays off one of Lazaro’s goons to gain his loyalty. Meanwhile, Oscar contacts Lily’s doctor on phone to ask him of her condition. During Chloe’s transfer, the cops come across a hitch on their way.
With the dumb president on his way to the hospital, Lily threatens to drag down Dr. Perez if he slips up and exposes her deception.Oscar arrives at the hospital to see the doctor and once Lily sets eyes on him, she begins to milk her “illness” and feign being in pain.
When he asks of her condition, Dr. Perez blabbers about some blasted stomach illness and how the jezebel needs to undergo surgery. Meanwhile, the goons lurking around open fire on the cops and that begins an all-out güñ battle.
Cardo and his comrades retrieve Chloe and escort her to safety while fighting off the crooks. While Diana notifies president Hidalgo of the botched attempt of Jacob’s group to rescue the suspect in custody, the güñ battle between the cops and the crooks drags on.
Jacob foolishly charges ahead, firing at will and Cardo easily güñs him down. Hipolito joins the fun and has some men drag Jacob away. In an interesting turn of events, Skull observes everything going on secretly.
Hipolito escapes with a wounded Jacob and what’s left of the group, just as Major Basco charges the team to always secure Chloe so she can face judgment for her crime. At the Palace, General Dela Cruz updates the president about the failed ambush and rescue of Chloe, just as Alyana also informs Grandma Flora and the rest of the family about the very same matter.
With the group now finally back at the rest house, Jacob whines about how their plan had failed. Hipolito blames him for disregarding the warning he had given. Elizabeth brings Diana some coffee in her office and begins expressing her sympathy for Lily and how she would pray for her to get better.
The jezebel plans to use the opportunity to make Oscar go down on his knees and propose to her. Meanwhile, Skull targets Major Romero and sends a couple of goons after her. Romero manages to hold them off for a while but is eventually captured by the madman and his lackeys.
