Victor’s Sentence Is Reduced From 6 Years To 6 Months. Janine’s World Begins To Fall Apart Following Her Daughter’s Disappearance. Yvonne Is Devastated With Victor’s Rejection.
While Janine hopelessly continues the search for her daughter, Dale gets rid of evidence to cover his tracks. In the meantime, the lawyer notifies Victor of the revision of his jail sentence from six years to six months.
Yvonne and the rest of the family are delighted to learn of the sudden turn of events. Doris in particular is glad that the cases against her and her mother have also been dropped. Janine has a talk with Carla about the fruitless search for her daughter.
Marlon informs his sister about the disappearance of the daughter of “that crazy woman”. He speculates that Audrey might have been kidnapped by one of Janine’s enemies, saying that she deserves it for what she had done to Marcus. Yvonne is surprised with the incident as she doesn’t wish for the children to come to harm.
Albert has dinner with his buddy Charley who urges him to stop pursuing Yvonne and get back together with Michelle since she’s supposedly better for him.
Janine’s license is invoked and she’s fired from the company because of her negligence that had led to a huge loss of money. After she’s kicked out of the office, she runs into Phoebe who laments over how she also risks getting fired because of her.
When Janine gives her attitude, Phoebe gives her a piece of her mind and a solemn vow to frustrate her to boot. Doris, Gary and the rest of the family visit Victor in prison alongside Marcus. Victor spends some quality time with his son and later reads a letter Yvonne had sent him.
Ironically, Dale reaches out to Janine to supposedly help her find their daughter.Yvonne finally comes to pay Victor a visit in prison but he decides to avoid her and not show up at the visiting area on account of a threat he had received before.
Kenjie tracks down Janine’s mother (Minerva) and informs her of what her daughter has been going through. In no time, Kenjie brings Minerva to the house and upon setting eyes on her, Janine blows a fuse and begins acting out in such dramatic, miserable manner.
A series of flashbacks reveal the troubles Minerva had caused Janine with her adulterous lifestyle, eventually abandoning her. At the prison, Yvonne shows up for another visit and is surprised to learn of the drug trafficking charges against Victor.
Victor comes to meet her at the visiting area and is assured that his lawyer would take care of his situation. Victor suddenly starts acting out and making a scene. He demands for Yvonne to leave and never come back, adding that he doesn’t even want to see Marcus anymore.
Later that night, Yvonne pours out her heart to Albert over the matter. Minerva pays a surprise visit to her sister at her house and Vida lashes out at her on account of how she had disappeared cowardly after the messy problems she had caused.
Minerva apologizes profusely and pleads for a second chance. As Yvonne takes her son to school for the awarding ceremony, Michelle takes Albert by surprise by stealing a ki$$. She then pathetically tries in vain to convince him to choose and love her over Yvonne. Albert makes things crystal clear.
Marcus is among the top 5 to receive honors and some colleagues of his make mockery of him on account of his father’s absence. While Victor is ättaçked in prison by some inmates, Marcus cheers up when Albert shows up to stand in his father’s stead. Back in prison, Victor is ganged up on and seems to be in mortal danger.
