“If they want to cross me, I’ll show them I’m more than they can handle. They don’t know what’s coming for them, Cassie. I am more dangerous than the both of them.”
Daniela woke up from her slumber. She got out of her car and found the tyre as good as new. Meanwhile, Bernard had a talk with his son about his rebellion in school and comforted him over his loss (Cassie’s death).
The police interrogated Daniela over the phone that had supposedly been recovered at the crime scene. After denying, Danny girl refused to talk without her lawyer present.
Arriving with Bernard in tow, Romina called Daniela’s number and the phone in the officer’s possession rang. The officer requested that she give up her password so they could get on with the investigation.
“You want the password?” Daniela taunted.
“Yes, ma’am,” replied the officer.
“Sure. I…do… not… know! That’s the password.”
Bored with her attitude, Romina grabbed Daniela and punched her squarely in the face. “I’m done playing games with you!”
Marga arrived just then and was greeted with her despicable mother’s bloody nose. After putting on a show, Daniela reluctantly unlocked her phone. The officer called the number Daniela often contacted, which she had called on the night the Mondragons’ house was raided.
Meanwhile, Hector was in the process of answering the call when a goon came to tell him about Daniela being taken into police custody. Roxanne came to Cassie’s wake but Neil wouldn’t allow her to see her. He charged her to leave so her mafia dad wouldn’t come after them.
Kulas went to the new Bartolome house to look for Daniela. Romina stormed in just then with the police, and soon enough, they found the same güñ that had been used in the ambush in Daniela’s car.
Neil was talking over the phone about how he had instructed the guards not to allow anyone open the casket. Kristoff eavesdropped. “What’s important is that she’s safe now. Nobody else must know.”
At the precinct, the officer revealed to Daniela that the büllëts they had recovered from the crime scene was a perfect match to the güñ they had found in her car. Danny girl was in disbelief. Meanwhile, Romina regrouped with her brother at the safehouse. As they conversed, someone descended the stairs. Cassie.
Flashback : After Romina talked Cassie into splitting up, she went with the bodyguards in the white van. Sometime later, on Cassie’s insistence, the driver blocked Hector’s car, giving Romina the much needed time to ‘crash’ the car and fool the scumbags pursuing them.
Present : Cassie was having a talk with her mother about how long they could keep her ‘death’ a secret when they heard some disturbance. A second later, some guards dragged Kristoff in. Kristoff stared at Cassie in shock.
Eventually, the Mondragons swore Kristoff into secrecy. Romina had a talk with Neil, revealing how she had blindsided and planted the evidence against Daniela. Meanwhile, Daniela talked her lawyer into borrowing his phone, then made her way into the restroom.
Cassie was worried about her mother’s plan failing and Daniela and Hector getting back at her. Romina gave her assurance. “If they want to cross me, I’ll show them I’m more than they can handle. They don’t know what’s coming for them, Cassie. I am more dangerous than the both of them.”
With her attorney’s phone, Daniela called Hector, blaming him for her current predicament. Hector denied having any hand in it and promised to look into it. Meanwhile, Marga had a talk with Mikoy, determined to find out what really happened to Cassie ‘that night’.
While the Mondragons were considering keeping an eye on Daniela so Hector didn’t break her out of jail, Daniela’s attorney told her that to avoid prison, she had to catch the real culprit who had ‘k!lled’ Cassie and convince them to confess.
“I’m going to be out of here real soon,” Danny girl jeered.
Hector and his aimless goons came up with a plan as Daniela was being transferred to the city jail. They ambushed the police and managed to get away with Daniela, who wasn’t that thrilled that she was now a fugitive like him. Soon enough, Romina tailgated them and cut short their reunion.
She traded shots with Hector and hit him in the shoulder. “Daniela! Hector! Give up already.” The police encircled them and Daniela came out of the car, playing the victim. Hector shot her and surrendered. Romina looked on in disbelief as she dropped her güñ while the police took Danny girl away.
Marga was amazed at Kristoff’s sudden cheerful demeanor. She asked if he had forgotten Cassie so soon but Kristoff snubbed her. A moment later, with Mikoy, Marga tailed Kristoff to a shopping mall. Kristoff noticed them and shook them off.
Arriving at the safehouse, he informed Cassie of the incident. Kristoff spotted Marga and Mikoy outside the safehouse. Not having the common sense to ignore them, he let them in after Cassie went into hiding. Acting like her bratty self again, as if the place belonged to her, Marga went searching through the house.
Hiding in the closet in the upstairs room, Cassie was almost spotted had Marga not cut short her foolishness after receiving a call from her equally despicable godmother. On their way out, Mikoy spotted Cassie’s phone.
Neil had a call from Cassie, telling him of the incident earlier. Bonita, the rat, looked on.
Meanwhile, the police interrogated Hector. Recalling how Daniela had asked him to claim responsibility for everything so she could get him out later, Hector took responsibility for all the crimes, denying that Daniela was ever his accomplice.
Romina stormed in and called him out as a liar. Hector started choking her until Mina kicked him. In the balls. Bonita, the rat walked into the safehouse, surprised to see a very much alive Cassie with Neil and Kristoff.
Meanwhile, Daniela was still putting on a show at the hospital, playing the victim. Her attorney came to inform her that the prosecution had dropped the charges against her because Hector had confessed to everything. The episode ended as an officer uncuffed Daniela.
