Janine blatantly refuses to agree to any kind of amicable settlement, obsessed with making Yvonne pay dearly for “stealing” her husband. After yet another altercation, Yvonne gets physical with the witch of a rival.
Victor is delighted to finally see his son. Carmen tries to convince her daughter to reconsider Albert’s suggesting to take a breather with her son. Albert receives an unforeseen surprise on his birthday.
Janine returns home in a very bad mood and she takes out her frustrations on her daughter; Audrey reaches out to her father. While Michelle strives to reconnect with Albert, Janine finally discovers what her daughter has been up to and she resorts to very childish measures.
Meanwhile, Albert makes things crystal clear to Michelle.Yvonne plans to take a vacation trip to the province with her son. Fortunately, Victor’s sentence is reduced from 6 years to 6 months and Janine blows a fuse when she learns of it.
Dale begins to worry about how Janine could take his daughter away from him forever; his mother Sandra urges him to take drastic action. Doris and Gary inform Yvonne and the rest of the family about the good news regarding Victor’s sentence and the lawsuits that had been filed against them.
Suspecting the culprit behind her daughter’s disappearance, Janine has Dale brought into police custody for interrogation. In the meantime, Sandra proceeds with her plan to take Audrey out of the country, to the states. Janine’s obsession to ruin Victor’s family leads to the loss of her job.
Audrey’s sudden disappearance and Victor’s early release leaves Janine more miserable than ever. Gary delivers a letter and a message from Victor to Yvonne. Dale continues to get in touch with his daughter, all the while leading her on when she asks of her mother.
As Yvonne looks forward to the reunion of her family, Victor finds trouble in prison. Kenjie makes his return after learning of the misfortunes that had befallen Janine. He offers his undying support for his miserable friend and resolves to give her solace.
After witnessing an unfavorable scene, Dale picks a fight with Kenjie and gets double for his trouble.
Victor pushes through with his decision to file for an annulment, taking Janine by surprise and making her miserable. Marcus comes to notice his father’s disregard and that leaves him hurt, confused and wondering.
Dale takes advantage of Janine’s hopelessness to get closer to her on the guise of helping her find their daughter; he plans to use Audrey to get back together with Janine. Yvonne catches on to something off with Victor and she tries in vain to make him fess up.
Victor is compelled to put on an act to protect his family from danger. Kenjie reaches out to Aunt Vida and strives to make her see the so-called goodness in her miserable niece. He then makes contact with Janine’s mother and that leads to a whole lot of drama.
As Marcus receives first honor in school, Victor comes under ättaçk in prison. Dale makes a preposterous blunder that gives away his deception. Marcus becomes distressed to learn of his father’s condition. Meanwhile, Janine blows a fuse when her marriage to Victor is finally annulled.
