After framing up Gabriel and putting a target on his back, Rigor stirs up further trouble for Roman and his family as they come under ättaçk from the ruthless crime boss. Roman, Bianca and Grandma Lydia become distressed with Gabriel’s disappearance. Together with the rest of the family, they hold a vigil to pray for his safe return home.
When Carlos shows his miserable face during the vigil with his wife to offer his “sympathies”, a furious Bianca confronts him about his involvement in her husband’s disappearance. An altercation ensues and leads to a face-off with Isabel. Sylvia and Gabriel find solace in each other, with the former recounting the story of the child she had before.
In no time, Gabriel finally reaches out to his father to inform him of his whereabouts.Roman notifies Josh about this and enlists his help. It doesn’t take long for Bianca to storm into Carlos’ house, still accusing him of being involved in Gabriel’s disappearance.
Rigor receives yet another visit from Emeka and he tries desperately to lead him on and cover his tracks. Gabriel tells Roman about his ordeal with the syndicate group; Roman resolves to keep his condition from Bianca. Carlos takes delight in the misfortune of his rival.
Bianca has an encounter with Isabel during her checkup at the hospital. When Gabriel’s condition deteriorates, Sylvia is compelled to take him to the hospital for treatment; she goes out of her way to ensure that he stays out of danger. In the meantime, Emeka launches a random āssäult on Roman.
After finally coming clean to his family, Roman expresses his utmost appreciation to Sylvia for helping his son. Bianca can’t help but to worry for her husband’s safety upon learning of his situation. Without further ado, she emotionally talks to him over the phone. Steph begins to get worried for her sister because of her never-ending scheming husband.
Gabriel gradually recovers with the support of his loved ones; still in hiding, he undergoes rigorous training to prepare him for the battle ahead. Rigor makes a pathetic attempt to get back together with Sylvia. Carlos connives with an investor of Dela Vega Group to fulfil his selfish ambition.
Bianca pays a visit to Isabel at home and comes upon a shocking discovery.Gabriel works to infiltrate the group of an ally of Emeka. Upon finding solid evidence of Carlos’ implausible wealth, Bianca notifies her husband about it. The police arrest Emeka and his syndicate group in a raid.
Just as the crime boss is being taken into custody, Roman arrives and confronts him. Rigor becomes apprehensive after he notices that he’s being spied on. Sylvia dramatically shares her story with Gabriel. Armed with the damning information from his wife, Gabriel spies on Carlos and figures out his diabolic plan for the company.
Sandra returns home and strives to reconnect with her eldest daughter. Gabriel becomes instrumental in exposing the conspiracy in the company; Roman lifts Olsen’s suspension and reinstates him to his position, only to discover the shocking truth.
