“I helped cover up your lies and saved you from trouble countless times. And this is how you repay me? You dare deny me the right to see him?! My son, Daniela!! Perfect. It’s where you belong. You deserve to be chained up in the deepest part of hell for your crimes!”
Hector and his lackeys arrived outside the Mondragon house. Meanwhile, Romina kept ignoring Bernard’s calls as she tucked her daughter into bed. A moment later, one of the goons took out the sorry excuse of a guard stationed at the gate, giving Hector a free pass in. Daniela was walking around and behaving like a zombie from an apocalyptic world.
When Marga arrived, Nanny Esther started adding effect to the drama she was displaying, which I wasn’t really much interested in. Long story short, a series of flashbacks revealed Daniela’s self destructive behaviors after her mother’s death. Zombie Daniela carried on with her antics, walking around aimlessly and ignoring everyone.
(Seriously. Are you guys buying this sh*t? I know I’m not). Hector and his gang of hopeless scumbags broke into the Mondragon house and neutralized the equally useless bodyguards. The great evil headed straight for Romina’s room (how he knew exactly where her room was is far beyond me) and fired multiple shots at the bed.
“Good bye, Romina,” Hector said with a smirk. “Say hi to good old Robert.” Hector removed the covers only to find a heap of clothes. Guy looked like someone had hurt his feelings.
Some goons came over. “Cassie’s not in her room,” one said. “They tricked us.” (Lol. Were you guys expecting a warm, grand welcome with a mat stationed at the door which says, “We’re sleeping in our rooms. Come k!ll us”?)
“Find them,” Hector hissed.
The Mondragons were guarded out of the house by some guards into their car. A flashback showed Romina picking Bernard’s call and listening to his warning. Mina føølishly delayed and only fired up the engine when Hector and his lackeys approached and fired. (Hey, Mina. So were you really waiting for the bad guys to follow you? What is it? Heavenly bravery or deliberate stüpidity?). Taking her ridiculous act to the next level, Daniela stood at the apex of a building, rambling some absurdities.
Coming upon the scene, Marga tried talking some sense into her as she went on spouting crap after crap until Marga promised to give her another chance. (Why don’t you just jump, Danny girl? We’d finally be rid of your despicable person). As Marga wailed and hugged her sorry excuse of a mother, Daniela actually smirked. (Yep. Her suiüīde attempt was all for show. What a horrible, horrible mother). Hector and his lackeys pursued the Mondragons, unloading a barrage of büllëts.
At an intersection, a white van blocked their path for a while, giving the Mondragons an advantage. Meanwhile, Bernard called the police and alerted them about the danger the Mondragons were in. The great evil and his scumbags had lost the Mondragons, only for their car to show up nearby as if in deliberation. “You’re a goner now, Romina,” Hector sneered. “Say your prayers.”
Romina backed up and drove down the road as their pursuers looked on. A moment later, an explosion rocked the area. Soon enough, Hector and his guys arrived at the crash site, smirking in pleasure as he saw Romina and Neil lying motionless while their car was caught ablaze a distance away. On Hector’s orders, the goons set out to confirm their deaths. They however retreated as the cops closed in.
The next morning, zombie Daniela had magically transformed back into her irritating, despicable form. Marga sobbed upon watching the news of the Mondragons’ accident and Cassie’s death. Despicable mother told her not to feel sorry for them. Meanwhile, the Mondragons set up for Cassie’s wake, where the glorified rat asked a bunch of stüpïd questions. (Cassie’s coffin looks so beautiful. I bet some people are dreaming of sleeping in it. Someday. I inclusive)
At Carlos’ funeral, Daniela had a call from Hector, telling her about her sister’s death. Danny girl said Cassie’s death wasn’t enough to atone for Carlos’. The crook wanted Romina dead as well. (Why so greedy, Danny girl? A death for a death isn’t enough? So tell me, what do you measure death with? Your rotten blacken, stone-cold heart?)
Fatima and LJ gave Romina their condolences. Soon enough, Kristoff arrived and was left in shock. Romina had a talk with Bernard, refusing to give the police her consent to disturb her daughter’s remains so they could get an autopsy done. Kulas confronted Daniela for burying Carlos without informing them or allowing them to see him one last time. Danny threw a jab at him, indifferent.
“I helped cover up your lies and saved you from trouble countless times,” Kulas hissed. “And this is how you repay me? You dare deny me the right to see him?! My son, Daniela!! Huh?!!!” Kulas added, shoving her miserable self into an empty grave. “See that? Perfect. It’s where you belong. You deserve to be chained up in the deepest part of hell for your crimes!”
Quick! Someone grab a shovel. You need to bury this ticking-time bømb before she blows you all up. Sadly, no one listened to my heavenly advice. Refusing to be assisted, Danny girl climbed out of the empty grave and resorted to threatening the old man.
The police updated Romina on the investigation and the search for Hector. A moment later, the sound of a marching band dominated the place. Camp Romina came out to see Daniela as the leader of the group, basking in the band’s tune. Romina looked on in disbelief as Daniela mocked and taunted her with Cassie’s death.
After an unending exchange of words and finding her way inside, Daniela tried opening Cassie’s casket but Romina stopped her. “You want a war? Then so be it. I’ll give you one and I won’t be holding back.” (Jeez. I was really expecting Romina to grab a chair or something and beat the living daylights out of this wretched creature.
Mina has really gone soft). Kulas was determined to come up with a plan to get justice for the deaths of his sons. Meanwhile, Daniela was harboring doubts about Cassie’s death. Concurrently, Neil was having a talk with his sister, asking whether they were doing the right thing. Romina said they had to go along with it for the sake of their family.
“We’ll make everyone who wronged us pay,” Mina declared. “They’ll run out of excuses and ways to escape. They’ll all get what’s coming to them.”
Kristoff had turned himself into a miserable drunk over Cassie’s death. Guy threw a fit as Mikoy tried to reason with him. Meanwhile, Romina had a talk with Bonita, asking if she had any idea of who was betraying them. The obvious rat said the traitor probably had a good reason. “A reason? They better have one or who knows what I’ll do to them. People were k!lled, so I don’t know if I’ll ever forgive them.”
During Cassie’s memorial at Maxwell, LJ called out Marga as she started her childish antics while the teacher was giving a eulogy for Cassie. Girl stormed off after throwing another tantrum. Sulking and in a very bad mood, Kristoff got into a fight with a guy. Roxanne came to intervene and he unleashed his venom on her. “I don’t need help, especially not from you. Cassie’s dead because of your father!”
At an undisclosed location, Daniela’s car broke down. She got out to find that she had a flat tire. As she tried calling for help, someone stalked over and knocked her out cold. Meanwhile, Hector was unable to reach Daniela on phone. He ordered his goons to go and find out what had happened to her.
