“If you didn’t connive with Hector, Carlos would still be alive. You were a worthless wife, Daniela! And you’re the one who got him k!lled.”
Marga told her family about how she hadn’t been able to reach her dad and Romina for a while now. A moment later, Kulas had a call from Mina who informed him of Carlos’ fate. Arriving at the morgue, the Bartolomes snubbed Daniela and went ahead to see Carlos. Enter Marga, who scolded her mother for starting another fight in front of her dad’s body.
Coming to the knowledge of how Carlos had died, Marga kicked both Romina and Daniela out and resumed sobbing over her dad’s body.Daniela confronted Hector and demanded that he bring her the person who had k!lled her husband. Meanwhile, Romina was determined to live up to the promise he had made Carlos despite the fact that Marga was blaming her for his death.
As camp Romina discussed the entrapment operation gone wrong, Romina began to wonder how Hector and his lackeys knew their every move. Daniela pointed out the perpetrator and without warning, she shot him down. “He k!lled my husband. An eye for an eye.”
As Marga kept mourning over her dad’s death, Kulas vowed to get justice for Carlos no matter the price. Meanwhile, Romina had a talk with Cassie, more than convinced that someone was spying on them.
“I know uncle Bernard is helping Daniela,” Cassie mentioned. “But he wouldn’t do anything that would put us in danger.”
Bernard told his son about how he couldn’t contact his grandparents. Kristoff asked if there was something more he wasn’t telling, and he promised not to let anything bad happen to their family. Having no sense of shame or self-respect, Daniela sauntered into the venue for Carlos’ wake, staring down at him and doing the only thing she knew how to do best – blaming Romina for everything. Kulas came upon the scene and went at her.

“If there’s someone who should be here, it’s me,” Danny girl grumbled. “Because I was his wife.”
“You were a worthless wife, Daniela!” Kulas shot back. “And you’re the one who got him k!lled.” After another retort from Daniela, Kulas proceeded to kick her out. Romina was harboring the idea that Bernard could be the one betraying them. Neil wasn’t so sure of that. The obvious rat stood among them, listening. Meanwhile, Hector was planning on ättaçking since everyone was preoccupied with Carlos’ wake. “Call Daniela’s accomplice,” he said to his lackeys.
As soon as Romina approached Bernard, he told her that he had to get going because he had an appointment. Mina asked where he was going and Bernard said that he needed to see a client, adding that it was urgent. Mikoy comforted Marga as she wailed over her dad’s death. Meanwhile, Romina asked Kristoff about the client his dad was meeting. Kristoff said he didn’t know who it was, adding that he was surprised.
“I thought he’d cancel all of his appointments so he could be here to help you guys out,” Kristoff said. “So I guess it was pretty important.”
Romina, with Cassie, went to see Carlos, and thanked him for everything, rambling on about how she had learned to be stronger because of him. She then thanked him for saving her. And so did Cassie. Daniela stormed in, much to Kulas’ displeasure. Romina looked on, surprised to see Bernard with her. Bernard told Kulas that as Carlos’ wife, Daniela had the right to make arrangements for Carlos’ funeral.
Marga arrived and tried to put a stop to her mother’s madness and soon enough, the entire place grew into a circus. After exchanging a few words, Romina was leaving with her daughter when Daniela intercepted and poured some kind of crimson liquid on her dress. “You’re the one who should pay for all the recent deaths,” Romina hissed. “I swear, Daniela. I will make sure to avenge all of them and make you pay. Mark my words.”
While Daniela had the casket loaded into a hearse, Romina stared down at Bernard in disbelief. Meanwhile, Hector received confirmation from the rat in camp Romina about Mina’s whereabouts. Cassie tried to have a decent talk with Marga, which didn’t really go as well as she had hoped. Marga blamed her for her dad’s death. “I really wish you were the one who died.”
Cassie had a talk with Kristoff and told him of her mother suspecting that his father was the one helping Hector and Daniela. Kristoff said his dad would never do that. Concurrently, Daniela was having her very own exclusive wake, spouting some crap I wasn’t really interested in listening to. “I will make Romina pay” is all I heard from her annoying 2 minutes rant.
Bernard got into his car, only to be held in a chokehold by Romina, who demanded that he confess being in cahoots with Hector and Daniela since he had helped Danny girl take Carlos’ body. Bernard managed to groan out the fact that he had only helped Daniela because Nanny Esther had asked him to, adding that he was only keeping the promise he had made to Robert to look after his daughter. Eventually, Romina released him and demanded that he stay away from her family.
Kristoff had a talk with Mikoy about Romina’s suspicions. Meanwhile, Bonita got clumsy and ended up breaking a glass cup as Romina and Leon were discussing about Hector and Daniela. Romina brought up her suspicion of Bernard betraying them as the obvious rat looked on. “It’s best that we avoid him for now,” Mina said.
Kristoff asked his dad whether he was really working with Daniela against Romina. Bernard said he was only helping the insufferable woman with her finances since he owed Robert a lot and had promised to look after his daughter.
Mentioning Nanny Esther knowing about all the help he had been giving Daniela, Kristoff suggested that he ask her to talk to Romina and clear things up. At the exclusive wake, Daniela placed a phone call to Hector, asking him to make up for her husband’s death. Bernard, who was walking around, stopped to listen. “I have a job for you. I want you to k!ll Romina.”
Bernard looked on in shock. “It’s funny, Daniela. I knew you’d ask me that. But sure thing, I’ll personally see that she’s buried six feet under.”
At the hideout, Hector rallied his lackeys. “Get up, boys. It’s time we pay miss Romina Mondragon one final visit. A courtesy call she won’t expect.”
