Marcus Confronts Audrey; A Tragedy Strikes & Provokes Janine To Greater Anger. Yvonne Faces Off With Janine. Marcus Goes Missing. Janine Plots A Diabolic Scheme.
Daria reaches out to Janine and strives to convince her not to push through with the charges against Doris and Sonia for her son’s sake. Janine makes it pretty clear that she would only consider redrawing the case if those who had wronged her come to her and beg for mercy. In the meantime, Carla brings Audrey to her favorite ice cream place to treat her.
Ironically, that’s the same place Albert had brought Marcus. Carla leaves Audrey at a table to go and use the washroom, just as Albert also excuses himself to answer a phone call. Marcus spots Audrey and decides to go and confront her over how her mother had sent his father to prison.
An exchange of words ensue and when Audrey calls Marcus’ mother a monster, he angrily shoves her to the floor.Audrey falls down and accidentally injures her eye in the process. Carla and Albert simultaneously come upon the scene and the former hurries to take the little girl to the hospital.
Once Janine learns of what had happened to her daughter, she storms Gary’s house to taunt Sonia with Victor’s imprisonment. Albert calls Yvonne on phone to inform her of the unfortunate incident with Audrey. While Dale comes to learn of it, Janine arrives at the hospital in a frantic search for her daughter.
When she sets eyes on Marcus, she confronts him and shamelessly begins to wrestle with the little boy for hurting her daughter. Yvonne shows up and comes to her son’s defense. An altercation ensues between both women and threats are exchanged. Later, Janine is asked to take her daughter to an eye specialist for further treatment.
Albert and Marcus both apologize to Yvonne for the trouble and she assures them that neither was at fault. After another unfriendly encounter with Dale, Janine takes Audrey to an eye clinic and she’s shocked to learn that her daughter is temporarily blind in her left eye and may not recover.
Sonia gets distressed when she learns of her son’s fate and she makes Doris and Gary take her to the prison to see Victor. Marcus is ridiculed by a schoolmate of his on account of his father’s imprisonment. When he gets home, he questions his mother about it and Yvonne apologizes for not telling him the truth.
In no time, Marcus disappears and winds up at Gary’s house all by himself. Daria is really upset with the little boy’s presence at the house and after she fails to reach his mother on phone, she gets even more upset since she’s to meet Janine to receive her commission on business they had transacted before.
After her boyfriend Weiwei fails to calm her down, Daria calls Janine to inform her of her situation and the witch convinces her to bring Yvonne’s son along to their meeting since she can’t leave him in the house alone.
Albert reaches out to his aunt who’s a judge and talks to her about why Janine had won the concubinage case. He’s shocked to learn of how Victor had made løvë with Yvonne while living in her house and recovering. Later, he ponders over it and wonders why he still can’t forget about Yvonne and move on.
Sonia arrives home with Gary and Doris to find Yvonne there. She asks why she hasn’t visited Victor yet and Yvonne tells her that she isn’t allowed to. Meanwhile, Daria gets stuck in traffic with her boyfriend and Marcus. Janine talks to Daria on phone and for some reason, she’s glad that he’s bringing Yvonne’s son.
